Andranik video

Hey Sprutt, I would like to know why you think that people on the short video in Andranik Ozanian article have Turkish uniforms. And do you have any idea who those people are? --Yerevanci (talk) 15:22, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

It's not that I don't believe you, but it does looks like Andranik. Yes I do have the source. The video is from Tigran Khzmalyan's YouTube channel. Just go on to the video page on Wiki Commons and it does indicate the source there.--Yerevanci (talk) 18:30, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 22

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Yeghegis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Reed (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I need a favor?

Can you help me out regarding some issue I have with the user who goes by the name KentronHayastan (Heart of Armenia). As you know anyone can pick a nice looking Armenian name and pretend they are doing good to the articles. But, if you watch his edits carefully, he is in fact a POV agenda guy probably working for Turks and Azeri Turks here in Misplaced Pages. Please look at the following I mentioned to him regarding the Template:History of Armenia:

Please do me a favor? Will you look here please --> History of Iran. Do you see the template and the "ANCIENT" part on top? Do you see it begins with 3200 BC? If as you know Persians dont exist in 3200 BC, and they have "ANCIENT" mentioned there, than we can have "ANCIENT" mentioned there also. By the way, I didnt even notice the History of Iran template at that time I put the same word, later I checked and noticed it says the same word up there in the 3200 BC etc etc time.

You see, he is trying to not have Ancient to be mentioned there , where clearly Persians didnt exist in Proto-Elamite period of the 3200 BC mentioning of Ancient, instead of the word Prehistory. He is putting "Ancient Armenia" from the time the Kingdom of Armenia (Antiquity) begins , and nothing earlier than that. I put Ancient in the time where it begins with Hayk 3rd millennium BC, as I mentioned above regarding Iran's history Ancient mentioned there. But, he reverts this and puts "Prehistory". The fact he is so against the use of the word Ancient, and me knowing that it should say Ancient, proves he is not true for correcting Armenian history. He is also changing how the template use to be like, as in the info not the style. He is not even wanting the word "Kingdom" to be mentioned in the Antiquity time. Also, if you go to Misplaced Pages's Armenian Empire, it takes you to the antiquity Kingdom of Armenia. But this guy tells me its wrong to put the Kingdom of Armenia in the template where it should be properly put. And another point, if you notice the Armenian Empire page, and Bagratuni kingdom, and just about any article you can find on Armenian history, where the language was always "Armenian", he starts to put all the other languages next to it, and even putting other religions, in a time where other religions didnt dominate Armenia. He is putting anything that is POV pushing and puts "foreign ruling" peoples in the main Armenian kingdom articles. So if you can, please help to revert back to the original stable version of the articles? Thank you. 75.51.164.190 (talk) 01:51, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

He even tries to change Orontid Dynasty Satrapy of Armenia to Proto-Armenian language. When this is cleary never has been Proto-Armenian, and was always mentioned there Armenian. He is trying to argue that during the Armenian Kingdom of antiquity it was Classical Armenian or Proto-Armenian, but the fact is, it was always mentioning of Armenian, and not the other new additions he recently is trying to change the stable articles. I told him its not needed to specify the Armenian categories of language, the history is all covered in the Armenian language page already, so when we say "Armenian", it means any of the ancient Armenian forms etc. Please check this guys edits, as I dont have an account now it the locked articles to revert his new additions of POV pushing the Armenian history , language, culture etc. 75.51.164.190 (talk) 02:01, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

First off, please do bother with establishing a normal account. I discourage the bickering over the templates ad over the articles. Please find a consensus. I will try to talk to KentronHayastan to see what the matter is. Cheers. Sprutt (talk) 19:37, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

Reply to you Sprutt

Its me the above user regarding the favor. Can you please revert Armeno-Phyrgians from the History of Armenia template?? Give the reasons and revert it, it was never in the template. 166.216.226.59 (talk) 21:51, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Didn't I advise you to establish a normal account, and stop editing from IP addresses? If you think that editing Misplaced Pages is some video game or smth. you are wrong. This is first. And second - WHO in the world cares about the idiotic topic of Armeno-Phyrgians??? Sprutt (talk) 23:35, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Listen, do you understand why im asking you? I have been blocked from Misplaced Pages for trying to correct things here since 2006. So im asking you again, can you please do me some of these favors and revert that. Thank you. This is not my home IP , you got it? Good. 166.216.226.165 (talk) 01:54, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

To enforce an arbitration decision, and for violating your topic ban as described in the related AE thread,
you have been blocked from editing for 2 weeks. You are welcome to make useful contributions once the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing arbitration enforcement blocks and then appeal your block using the instructions there.  Sandstein  09:52, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

Reminder to administrators: In March 2010, ArbCom adopted a procedure prohibiting all administrators "from reversing or overturning (explicitly or in substance) any action taken by another administrator pursuant to the terms of an active arbitration remedy, and explicitly noted as being taken to enforce said remedy, except: (a) with the written authorization of the Committee, or (b) following a clear, substantial, and active consensus of uninvolved editors at a community discussion noticeboard (such as WP:AN or WP:ANI). If consensus in such discussions is hard to judge or unclear, the parties should submit a request for clarification on the proper page." Administrators who reverse an arbitration enforcement block, such as this one, without clear authorisation will be summarily desysopped.
