This is a term that has very little usage in any media, only picked up by original author Ansei (a.k.a. Tenmei) in whatever research he performed. There is no analogous article at the Japanese Misplaced Pages, which seems to cut off at the ] terminology. This is a term that has very little usage in any media, only picked up by original author Ansei (a.k.a. Tenmei) in whatever research he performed. There is no analogous article at the Japanese Misplaced Pages, which seems to cut off at the Yonsei terminology. Obviously, he reads NOT A DICTIONARY and WORD in a manner differently than I, and I would have to say that is his right. However, when the serial requests for deletion on other articles are ill advised, and could easily be interpreted as harassment, even if that was not the intent. I gather that he has gone to WP:ANI, and there is nothing I can do about that. I meant no offense, but I will not be bullied into a retraction when there is nothing to retract. The article has some history, but lacks more sources from paywalled works like this and a work on teaching idioms. Its also interesting to note that Misplaced Pages has one of the best histories and coverage of the idiom; surpassing dictionaries and other word sites including Wiktionary.
