Hudson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Keith Hudson and Mary Perry. He was the youngest of three children, with two older sisters, Katheryn (Katy) and Angela.

On February 21st, 2013, Hudson released his first single entitled "Chained" from his untitled debut album.
