George's stress level increases when the "Mean Lion" challenges him for leadership of the jungle, and when Ursula's mother Beatrice teams up with Ursula's ex-fiancé, Lyle van de Groot, in a plot to forcibly take away all that George holds most dear. George gets on the bulldozer and tries to reason with the women but after being punched and kicked Kowalski finally kicks him in the genitals, this makes George re think sportsman ship and falls off. having believed they've won Sally and Kowalski look in the bulldozer only to find they have been tricked looking terrified, Rocky kicks them out the bulldozer and they are sent flying and screaming. After the women land they are a bit shaken up and Rocky finally defeats them by jumping on them smacking them up to their breasts in the mud, unconcious and unable to escape as Rocky leaves them for dead. George is unable, however, to defeat the digging machine until his son literally swings into the fray to support his father. Lyle and Beatrice arrive to pick up Ursala and George Junior. George manages to defeat both of them by hanging Lyle in a tree and Beatrice is kissed by Ape. Lyle is angered by his defeat and insults the narrator voice, who replies by pulling him from the story's world. George kisses Ursula, restoring her full memory of him. They are subsequently re-married and learn to find balance among his duties.

George of the Jungle 2 is a 2003 comedy film and the sequel to the 1997 Disney film George of the Jungle. It was directed by David Grossman and written by Jordan Moffet. The film stars Thomas Haden Church, Julie Benz, Christina Pickles, Angus T. Jones, Michael Clarke Duncan, John Cleese, and introducing Christopher Showerman in his film debut as George.

It was originally scheduled to be released on Summer 2003, but it was delayed to October 21, 2003.
