Hello. Thanks for your edits to ] and ]. In future, if you want to add a sidebar template such as {{tl|marketing}} to a page, you can do so simply by adding <nowiki>{{TEMPLATENAME}}</nowiki> to the page, instead of pasting in the entire contents of the template page.

==License tagging for File:Marion hands.jpg==
Thanks for uploading ]. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Misplaced Pages uses a set of ] to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from ], click on ], then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Misplaced Pages.

As reviewing administrator I see that this is a method which has a substantial literature; further , the article is at least started in a descriptive, not promotional manner. So I did not delete it. But I alert you that almost certainly someone will take it for regular deletion , & in its present form, it probably will not stand., What I would advise you to do, immediately, is add some references to reliable 3rd party sources. The articles in The Scientific World journal are not likely going to be considered reliable here. Though Rosen's books can be listed, they are not 3rd party sources. You want article in more significant journals, and substantial discussions in books not devoted entirely to this method. Good luck with it. ''']''' (]) 21:14, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello Etolpygo. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled ].

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{edit|Misplaced Pages talk:Articles for creation/Sixtiers|edit the submission}} and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}} or {{tlc|db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia ].

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: <code><nowiki>{{subst:Refund/G13|</nowiki>Misplaced Pages talk:Articles for creation/Sixtiers<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>, paste it in the edit box at <span class="plainlinks"></span>, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Misplaced Pages, and happy editing. <!-- Template:Db-afc-notice --> ] (]) 15:54, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Marketing template

Hello. Thanks for your edits to Brand ambassador and Out-of-home advertising. In future, if you want to add a sidebar template such as {{marketing}} to a page, you can do so simply by adding {{TEMPLATENAME}} to the page, instead of pasting in the entire contents of the template page.

So, for example, adding {{marketing}} to the article Out-of-home advertising (as I did here), yields the desired result.

This is known as transclusion, and enables the template to be updated at a central location instead of having to be changed at each article it appears in. If you wish to learn more about using templates, a handy guide can be found here: Help:Template. Thank you. --VeryCrocker (talk) 07:00, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
