==Peregrine Falcon speed==
Good point about claims for speed of the ] being undocumented. I've heard those figures for years, and I read one original anecdote of how that was determined--a pilot in a dive at a certain speed (175 mph) had a Pergrine pass him. I think every statement about the Peregrine's top speed is based on that one anecdote. I did find some references on this:

Looks to me they can indeed dive at a typical speed of up to 90 mph. The 175 mph figure quoted by everybody is on the high end, but not impossible, IMHO, given the experience with skydivers. Perhaps you can summarize all of this in a pithy manner, if you like. As you rightly mentioned, conflict of interest (COI) is the problem. Is there a workaround? Do I get someone else to write about me or are there more ways to just about keep article neutral enough for publication? Can I trouble you to have a look whether if it's worth my time requesting for a retrieval of the deleted content for another try? Thanks.
No idea why facts about Muscovy Ducks were removed. These ducks are a nuisance and are considered invasive in Florida. If you lived in a neighborhood where they drop their 1/3 pound of dung per day you might also consider than invasive. I have witnessed the fact that the male actually "rapes" his mate, which I find quite repulsive! Any in depth research will prove these to be facts.......sorry! ] 19:07, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi Jim, I was wondering why you unblocked this user. He went on a spree of vandalism a couple days agree creating multiple attack and vanity articles, uploading obscene images, and revert warring when others attempted to remove the speedy deletion notices from those articles and images. Most of his vandalism has been deleted, thus why it would not show up in his contribs, but I found a month for that level of vandalism appropriate. I'd also note that the user now has multiple sockpuppets popping up to evade the block. I'm not going to block again without hearing back from you unless the account's vandalism becomes excessive again, but I would like to know you removed the block. I listed it for deletion because it was a "non-commercial only" licensed photo and I had found a 1905 (PD) painting of that bird on commons to replace it. ] then swooped in and stating "Unfree image, has been replaced by a Commons image". A bit hasty on his part I'll grant, and not rely a speedy deletion criterea (otherwise I would not have bothered to list it in the first place), but ] seems to apply, the image was unfree and we have a free alternative. Thanks for the info, I have looked up the seperate page on the music guidelines as well. Would the band be a qualifying article if I mention the major acts (all of which are on wikipedia) the band has opened for during some major competions? After all one of the criteria points is "Has won or placed in a major music competition." I'll repost the article in a bit, being in a much more detailed fashion and see what you think from there. ]

Yes I agree that minor unknown bands should be deleted but this is not just a surfer. He is well known worldwide to surfers and is a pioneer who set up the Jamaica surfing Association. It has its own website. But you could say that about any article that is not familiar it should be deleted if it is a stub!!. COI workaround?

Hi Jim,

Got your message, thanks. First article attempt got deleted. Probably quite common. Still sad.

As you rightly mentioned, conflict of interest (COI) is the problem. Is there a workaround? Do I get someone else to write about me or are there more ways to just about keep article neutral enough for publication? Can I trouble you to have a look whether if it's worth my time requesting for a retrieval of the deleted content for another try? Thanks.

Jenn Salmorin, you claim to know the content of a deleted article that you cannot see, and you say we are currently in the process of editing the article to ensure it aligns with these standards. You have an obvious conflict of interest, please read independent verifiable sources (sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them), the notability guidelines, promotion (articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews) and paid editing. I note that your supposed refs include an interview with him and his own magazine, how are these independent third-party sources as we require here? Request for Review of Deletion of Lindholm Misplaced Pages Page

Hi Jimfbleak,

Thanks for your review on my recently created page for Mr. Lindholm. Mr. Lindholm is a friend and I will disclose that COI moving forwards. Before I request recovery for the draft, I have some questions.

Would you be able to provide some clarification on why the page was deleted for U5: Misuse of Misplaced Pages as a web host? Mr. Lindholm is still alive and the purpose of the article is to provide additional context and information behind the development of graphic processing units, in particular the GeForce 256 hardware T&L and GeForce 3 shader units, as these technological advancements were key to modern GPUs. I included numerous citations and kept the tone of the article objective to avoid bias. Would you be able to let me know which sections were not objective and require updates or edits?

Your help is much appreciated as I'd like to ensure that any future article on Mr. Lindholm is compliant with Misplaced Pages policies.

Follow up on ZKH Industrial Supply page

Thanks and well received the latest feedback. I will adjust the content accordingly.
Don't get me wrong. I don't want to create promotional content for the organisation, I just want to write some existing facts about the firm so that audience can have more visibility about the company when they search it. The company is a Chinese firm and has listed on NYSE since 2023. Currently most of third-parties (like news) are from local and not in english language, I wonder if that's acceptable if I use them in citation? And is there a minumum number of reference needed?
Besides reference issue, regarding the latest edits, are any other parts that I need to adjust my wording?
