What kind of connections? This para is misleading due to its word choice, so I removed it. ] 16:17, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Should read: The name underwent several changes ending with Taco-Tia before before Bell departed and eventually started Taco Bell.

In July 2020, Taco Bell announced the Grilled Cheese Burrito. '''The burrito was a recurring menu item, occasionally reappearing every few years, before becoming a permanent part of the menu in October 2023.'''
It's so different from the general Taco Bell that it worths to be mentioned.

In April 2021, Taco Bell said that it will start reusing hot sauce packets in partnership with the recycling company TerraCycle, aiming to reduce the environmental pollution.
HELP NEEDED: I wanted to add the Chinese franchise to the article. But as I mentioned above, Taco Bell in China is not a fast food chain, but a full-service Mexican bar and grill. Hence, I wonder, if the general provisions about fast food in the overview paragraph and the infobox needed to be changed? ] 16:44, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

it's actually the fourth, chocotacos were also sold at least at some taco bells, and i believe some franchises still carry them, altho they aren't invented by the company. for the people who aren't familiar with the chocotaco, its an ice cream novelty in the shape of a taco, with wafflecone tacoshell, chocolate covering and icecream inside.

On January 6, 2022, Taco Bell launched a digital taco ] called the Taco Lover's Pass through the company app. For the cost of $10, a customer '''could''' order one of seven different tacos each day for 30 consecutive days. '''The pass was eventually discontinued, but it was made available once more for two days in October 2023.'''
I'm as culturally-sensitive as the next guy, but the word "costarricans" is slang. I'm not necessarily arguing for its exclusion, but maybe an explanatory parenthetical would help, such as "due to the fact that traditionally costarricans (people from Costa Rica) consider tacos what is known in Mexico as flautas." In the meantime, I'm fixing some style problems with that sentence, but leaving the word in. If anyone has a problem with this edit, please remember we are trying to inform, rather than exclude.

In the article: "In the Spanish language, ''yo quiero'' means ''I want'' or ''I love''."

I'm spanish, and ''I love Taco Bell'' is translated as ''Yo quiero '''a''' Taco Bell'' (the key is the '''a'''), and so the only mean for ''Yo quiero Taco Bello'' is ''I want Taco Bell''.

Menu & Advertising/Dollar Cravings Changes

Hiii. I thought this section of the page was written oddly at parts, here's some changes I suggest.

Suggested changes are bolded, see explanations below.

In July 2020, Taco Bell announced the Grilled Cheese Burrito. The burrito was a recurring menu item, occasionally reappearing every few years, before becoming a permanent part of the menu in October 2023.

In January 2021, Taco Bell announced the return of potatoes to the menu after a brief discontinuation in August 2020 in efforts to streamline processes in their restaurants in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the potatoes, the company had announced plans to expand their vegetarian menu by introducing Beyond Meat as a plant-based vegetarian customization option.

In April 2021, Taco Bell said that it will start reusing hot sauce packets in partnership with the recycling company TerraCycle, aiming to reduce the environmental pollution.

In August 2021, Taco Bell announced the Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco as a limited-time item.

On April 18, 2022, Taco Bell announced that the Mexican Pizza will return to its menu on May 19, after having previously been discontinued in November 2020.

On January 6, 2022, Taco Bell launched a digital taco subscription service called the Taco Lover's Pass through the company app. For the cost of $10, a customer could order one of seven different tacos each day for 30 consecutive days. The pass was eventually discontinued, but it was made available once more for two days in October 2023.

Taco Bell launched the Crunchwrap Supreme in 2006. In 2023, the company was test marketing a vegan Crunchwrap Supreme in Los Angeles, New York, and Orlando to gauge the potential of a national roll out. Bon Appétit tested a vegan Crunchwrap alongside a non-vegan Crunchwrap purchased at the store in midtown Manhattan and said "the differences between the two were also genuinely difficult to discern."

Dollar Cravings

On August 18, 2014, Taco Bell launched a new value menu called Dollar Cravings. Replacing the old Why Pay More menu, Dollar Cravings contained thirteen food items all priced at a United States dollar at its launch. In April 2019, they introduced a "loaded nacho taco" for a dollar to the menu.

Over the years, several more items would be added, changed, or removed, sometimes as part of complete re-brandings or new marketing campaigns. The most significant of these occurred in 2022, when the menu was rebranded to the “Cravings Value Menu”, and January 2024, when the menu was completely overhauled, featuring 10 items at $3 or less.
