Mihail Popovici (born 29 October 1942) is a Moldovan specialist in cardiology who was selected as a member of Academy of Sciences of Moldova.

He earned an M.D. (1865) and Ph.D. (1970) from Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. He later was awarded a Doctor of Science degree from National Medical Research Center of Cardiology, Moscow.

He was the founding director of Moldavian Institute of Cardiology, Chisinau, from 1984 to 2014, and then became the deputy director of Science at the institute.

He was awarded the Order of the Republic (Moldova), Moldova's highest award, in 2002.
