With a strong urge to serve the human race the college recently started its bio-medical department to provide a quality undergraduate program in this upcoming field.The college sports top-notch laboratory facilities for this particular course and has plans to have tie-ups with international universities for the students to pursue their higher education.As of now there have been more than 25 papers published by the members of this department and the department's focus is mainly on research in the field of biomedical engineering.
Controversies:
"All the papers which are claimed to be published are all in local colleges whose standards fall well below what is expeceted" claims a former student, who is presently a student of NCSU-USA.

==Controversies==

Despite the claims made above there is a marked difference in opnion among many former students of the institution. "The college does not recognise real talent" is most often quoted by many former pupils. Also there are proofs to show that only less than 30% of the campus is green!.

Many former students also regard the standard of the teaching staff to be well below par."They think the standards set by them is great but actually its very much on the contrary" says a dissatisfied former student.
