File:Lydia Lopokova.jpg Nominated for Deletion

An image used in this article, File:Lydia Lopokova.jpg, has been nominated for deletion at Wikimedia Commons in the following category: Deletion requests May 2012
What should I do?

Don't panic; a discussion will now take place over on Commons about whether to remove the file. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion, although please review Commons guidelines before doing so.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Misplaced Pages (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Lydia Lopokova.jpg)

Flag icons (?)

Why is this article using flag icons for the nationality of the listed dancers -- especially on a list Russian dancers? If no one responds to this query in the next ten days, I propose to remove the flags as an inappropriate use per WP:FLAGICON. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 09:07, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

I strongly concur; this is not what flag icons are for.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ⱷ҅ⱷ≼  00:12, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
