I have noticed that the show's page on Channel 9 has not been updated since 2011. Maybe the idea that one has to register for a hotmail account or do it by post is not so attractive. I do agree with some of the commentators that the contributions had lost a bit of bite the last times I saw it. Maybe fewer shows with higher quality would be better, but that presents its own problems, I guess, apart from there being youtube now which scoops up a lot. ] (]) 06:06, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Crap

SOmeone should say that this show is crap now.... As it is rather obvious that all the videos are from other countries, not australia (AUSTRALIAS funiest home videos my ass) and, and, and, they blur the date on the videos out, sou you cant tell that they are from 1987. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.208.75.157 (talk) 09:03, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

In-video voice actor?

Does anyone know who does the voice acting in the show while the videos play? I keep thinking that the guy (named "David") was like Jim Cummings' long lost aussie brother.

PS: think he's the reason why this edition is more enjoyable than the american edition. The in-video captioning in the american edition is kinda......... I dunno, "lifeless". The voice actor you're thinking of is David Gibson, a helluva funny man. He came on to the series around 2000 (I think). I don't recall the name of the voice over actor before that.

The Show's Name

Please someone change the name of this page from 'Australia's Funniest Home Video Show' to 'Australia's Funniest Home Videos' as that is what the program is now called. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.220.79.178 (talk) 22:44, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Australia's Funniest Home Video Show Logo.gif

Image:Australia's Funniest Home Video Show Logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Misplaced Pages article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Lies!

Somebody should mention that despite the show being called "Australia's funniest home videos" they're mostly American and a whole lot of them have watermarks (or something) blurred out.

I would note this in the article but some Nazi will come along and defend the show to the death. Constan69 (talk) 08:53, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Silly me. Just noticed the above discussion. I agree with the unsigned comment (but I wouldn't recommend saying the show is "crap"). Constan69 (talk) 08:57, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

To the Toni vs Shelley vandal

Please stop. You've had your fun. Toni was the host, and now Shelley is the host. You might not like that, you might just be doing it for fun. You might be a few years behind the rest of us. But she's gone. So you should move on. Please stop. The-Pope (talk) 15:50, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
