In 1959, ] formed ] with the intent of releasing ] featuring the best in ] technology and equipment that the ] had to offer. ]' recordings were very popular with ] buffs as ] because of their use, novel at the time, of instruments in one ] only.

Like many other ] records, the Stereo Check Out came in a gatefold cover with extensive liner notes and full technical data inside. ] narrated both sides, providing both technical details and information about the musical instruments used on the tracks on Side Two.
