Today's FA

"The original 50-story building was constructed between 1929 and 1931 for Irving Trust."

I thought Irving Trust was someone's name. Perhaps the sentence is an Americanism, but it seems to me to be missing the definite article, which is used in the Irving Trust page. Please edit the FA summary to "between 1929 and 1931 for the Irving Trust." 109.76.178.90 (talk) 16:42, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

It’s an organisation’s name, so doesn’t need it. We would similarly say “constructed between 1929 and 1931 for Barclays Bank”, not “for the Barclays Bank”. The same text is in the article lead. - SchroCat (talk) 16:51, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
