Given that both are wrong, I would lean toward having the arguments passed to the template being correct (i.e. not flagging as a road game). - Yes. It appears that Template:NLLGameLog and in particular Template:NLL game log/game does not accommodate showing an alternate venue for a home game. The real answer is to fix that template to allow showing it as a home game and show the proper venue. Because as it stands now, it shows up wrong either way.
