The two factors that made me think this should be deleted are that the Kramer Guitars article lists him only as a minor partner (but the NYT source you found says he is the owner) and the fact that the article was originally created as an autobiography (either directly by him or someone associated with him). - Thanks, based on the sources you found I see that he is more notable than I had thought.
