:::: . I myself do not celebrate any festival as human life is itself a celebration. Unless you are wiki-devoted you shall fail to understand the import and significance of many messages. You are highly mistaken: wikipedia is not an end in itself; it is a medium to an end. If you do not believe in the mission of wikipedia to bring pure encyclopedic contents, perhaps you shall not find the environment conducive, as it is not like a political magazine and shouting in the processions. Only persons who believe in the wiki-process survive here and for this they must have absolute faith and confidence to work in unison to achieve a goal. Here, there is no career as such, you are highly mistaken: volunteers have to spend their productive time (which is otherwise valuable for the volunteers) to build an online encyclopedia, and persons who are not willing to spend time and energy, but come here with an agenda, would surely find the environment not conducive, and fly at the first hint of the possibility of unveiling their identities. I would suggest you to participate in the experience of giving a 💕 to the human civilization, even if you have to sacrifice a little time and energy. However, I understand that there may be several constraints to continue here, still you may try: it is not difficult but it is competitive, as you have to compete among at least one million users to prove your worth, and many have done this – you are not an exception, you are intelligent and knowledgeable to achieve this provided you have the confidence. In case, of any difficulty, you may seek assistance from the Wikimedia India Chapter, which may come up in India at a future date. In the meanwhile, you may at least try to build the project to the extent possible. You know: ]. Thanks. --] 18:11, 21 October 2006 (UTC) | |||

Pronunciation of Thiruvananthapuram
Hi, I found your message on my talk page. The IPA equivalent of Thiruvananthapuram is : ˈθiɹʊvanan'θapˌʊɹam
This will be very hard for the normal readers to digest. And thats why i added the simple phonetics in the article. Moreover, the ogg file is attached so that, the users can hear it pronouncing.
-Regards, -- Rajith Mohan :-) 11:05, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Pls explain why you feel those sentences are "weasel" & tasteless ??-Bharatveer 10:16, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- pls see WP:WEASEL and understand the meaning of that word. This sentence The promulgation of "Temple Entry Proclamation" (1936), an act that underlined social emancipation is not "weaselly" , "misleading" or "vague" in anyway.
- How can this sentence With the establishment of Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS) in 1962, Thiruvananthapuram became the cradle of India's ambitious space programme . which aptly suggests the development of India's space programme be an out of place metaphor?
- I removed the cleanup tag because as per my wiki experience ,I felt that tag was unnecessary.-Bharatveer 11:03, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Pls explain why you feel those sentences are "weasel" & tasteless ??-Bharatveer 10:16, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- The cleanup tag is not needed in the Thiruvananthapuram article. Plese see Talk:Thiruvananthapuram for the reasons. -- Rajith Mohan :-) 16:29, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
That was not a fraud website. It is a website of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Check out their home page. -- Rajith Mohan :-) 17:03, 15 October 2006 (UTC).
It is.. See their home page too.. Note the declaration part also : " TourismInIndia.com is the Original Website of the Ministry of Tourism, designed and developed by Inet India Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in 1999
Any unauthourised duplication of this site is strictly prohibited and liable to prosecution. ans zw "
Dear frnd, you cannot just assume things. Ministry of Tourism is promoting several sites under its control. If you are googling using the key words, "Ministry of Tourism India", the first web page you will be getting is this link. I dont think that any site can just claim that it is run by Government of India, and be listed in the top position in google for months!! Moreover, many telephone numbers in the site are not updated, indicating the charecteristics of a typical gov.site(lol)... Your effort to improve the quality of the article is really appreciated. But be positive rather than being negetive always. For instance, try to find more sources rather than just fixing a source tag. Fix the tag, if you are not able to find a reference. Your tag about Swati Thirunal and violin is very much accurate. See the talk page and the to-do list and help in completing the project. Thanks in advance, -- Rajith Mohan :-) 17:54, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Deepu's RFA
I just added my opinion on the username issue in Deepu's RFA (which is just what I have told you before) but I do hope you don't get into more trouble because of it.
Sarvavijnanakosam still hasn't reached "Tha", has it ? Tintin (talk) 09:01, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- I am aware of Viswavijnanakosam but I meant the Sarvavijnakosam which the State Encyclopaedia Institute has been publishing for a very long time now. It is intended to be a 20 volume book and last heard, they had reached 12 or so. That is more comprehensive that Viswavijnanakosam. Re. Viswavijnanakosam,, I think there is an edition that came out in around 1990. DC Books' 4-volume Akhilavijnanakosam and this came out at around the same time but my father bought Akhilavijnanakosam.
