If it's desired to bring any of it back, it would be best to do so in an encyclopedic way, connecting it to something (sales, homebrew, emulation, anything) with the use of reliable sources. Hello fellow Wikipedians,

While yes, the e1000 models didn't have WiFi, it was possible to download games from PlayStation Store for use on this model PSP.
I have just modified {{plural:4|one external link|4 external links}} on ]. Please take a moment to review . If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit ] for additional information. I made the following changes:
*Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20150208030840/http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/business/million.html to http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/business/million.html
*Corrected formatting/usage for http://play.tm/story/3562
*Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20130420223100/http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/release/pdf/090819b_e.pdf to http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/release/pdf/090819b_e.pdf
*Corrected formatting/usage for http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/data/bizdatapsp_e.html

There was "Media Go", a Windows application that once logged in with a SEN account would allow you to download the encrypted packages from PS Store to your PC to then install to your E1000/other model PSP, and you could also load games via a PS3 system just like any other PSP model.
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the ''checked'' parameter below to '''true''' or '''failed''' to let others know (documentation at {{tlx|Sourcecheck}}).

I didn't want to edit immediately because my guess is that it's referring to game distribution formats that worked directly on the console, but figured I'd leave a comment in the talkpage in case maybe there was just context missing. ] (]) 10:06, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

Technical specification section

As part of the requested copy edit, I tackled the technical specification section. While I moved some details to other sections, for the most part these details seem to run squarely into WP:INDISCRIMINATE. If it's desired to bring any of it back, it would be best to do so in an encyclopedic way, connecting it to something (sales, homebrew, emulation, anything) with the use of reliable sources. If the only place you can find the information is a technical reference sheet, it's probably not encyclopedic. I hope that explains my rather aggressive trimming. Having done some housekeeping I'll look more at style and language tomorrow. Kim Post (talk) 09:47, 16 December 2018 (UTC)

PSP-E1000 did receive games via digital distribution, infobox is wrong

While yes, the e1000 models didn't have WiFi, it was possible to download games from PlayStation Store for use on this model PSP.

There was "Media Go", a Windows application that once logged in with a SEN account would allow you to download the encrypted packages from PS Store to your PC to then install to your E1000/other model PSP, and you could also load games via a PS3 system just like any other PSP model.

I didn't want to edit immediately because my guess is that it's referring to game distribution formats that worked directly on the console, but figured I'd leave a comment in the talkpage in case maybe there was just context missing. 5.134.85.179 (talk) 10:06, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
