Hello, Tamsier. In 2018 your indefinite block was commuted to a topic ban from all edits related to the Serer people plus a sitewide ] restriction. Please see and . Did you forget about it during your long absence (nearly five years)? You have never appealed those restrictions and they have never been lifted. Nevertheless, when you returned in March of this year, you returned to editing about the Serer people, thereby violating your topic ban. (I don't know whether there have been any 1RR problems.) Theoretically, I'm supposed to block you for those violations, which are big and bad — look at , for example. However, after your long absence, I don't have any taste for throwing the book at you; I'd rather believe that you had forgotten, or had somehow assumed the restrictions were no longer live. They are, though. Please immediately cease all editing related to the Serer people, and also please make sure to keep the 1RR restriction in mind from now on. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
