Generally, make sure that he or she had vandalised SOON AFTER a {{subst:test3}}, {{subst:test4}} or {{subst:bv}} warning. DO NOT REPORT A USER WHO HAS NOT VANDALIZED SINCE THE FINAL WARNING!

* {{vandal|Ishilly}} This user has used several IPs (such as 190.64.8.51, 82.153.184.230, 87.81.136.43) to perpetuate hoax edits to the ] article, among others. I previously reported him for vandalism and followed admin suggestions that I assume good faith and ask this user to take our "content dispute" to the Talk page. If you check the Talk page you can see that he has yet to provide any sources for his hoax edits. I know that this may not seem like vandalism unless you are knowledgeable about football but this user is clearly adding false information and doing it persistently (after multiple revisions from several different users that are knowlegdeable about the subject of the article and have provided reliable sources). Perhaps I should be more patient, but I am frustrated that this user is perpetuating his hoax edits by creating new articles (such as ]) and using multiple IPs to do so. Any help is appreciated. Best regards. ] 22:37, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

***I believe the same user also uses IPs 82.153.184.230, 87.81.136.43 which both have received warnings. I will add a warning to user:Ishilly, but what is to stop him from continually adding new IPs and usernames? Thank you for your help. ] 22:44, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Report active, obvious, and persistent vandals and spammers here. Shortcut

Before reporting, read the spam and vandalism pages, as well as the AIV guide. To submit, edit this page and follow the instructions at the top of the "User-reported" section. For other issues, file a request for administrator attention.

    Important!
    1. The edits of the user must be obvious vandalism or obvious spam.
    2. Except for egregious cases, the user must have been given enough warning(s).
    3. The warning(s) must have been given recently and there must be reasonable grounds to believe the user(s) will further disrupt the site in the immediate future.
    4. If you decide that a report should be filed place the following template at the bottom of the User-reported section:
      • * {{Vandal|Example user or IP}} Your concise reason (e.g. vandalised past 4th warning). ~~~~
    5. Requests for further sanctions against a blocked user (e.g., talk page, e-mail blocks) should be made at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
    6. Reports of sockpuppetry should be made at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations unless the connection between the accounts is obvious and disruption is recent and ongoing.
This noticeboard can grow and become backlogged. Stale reports are automatically cleared by MDanielsBot after 4–8 hours with no action.
