ANI discussion

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved.

Topic banned from Michael Jackson

The following sanction has been imposed on you:

You are indefinitely banned from editing anything related to Michael Jackson, broadly interpreted.

You have been sanctioned following a complaint at this discussion and following your own comments there, calling good-faith editors "trolls".

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator as authorised by the community's decision at Misplaced Pages:General sanctions/Michael Jackson, and the procedure described by the general sanctions guidelines. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions for that decision. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction at the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 20:52, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

March 2020

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:18, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

You are topic banned from discussing Michael Jackson. You are not allowed to discuss Michael Jackson, to reference articles about Michael Jackson, to make aspersions about other editors with respect to their editing of Michael Jackson pages, etc. I warned you to "let other people worry about who's being disruptive". Whenever you mention Michael Jackson on English Misplaced Pages, you will be blocked. You are allowed to appeal your topic ban, either to me or to WP:AN. But you are not allowed to discuss this topic any more. Although this block has been done to enforce general sanctions, it is a "normal" block that any admin can lift. I don't see any reason why we have to invoke extra bureaucracy here. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:28, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
