Regarding the hood part, Locomotives like WDM-3A and WDM3D have a short and long hood because the cab is situated in the middle but in WDP-4 the cab is at one extreme end, and the entirety of the hood is behind the cab. So the terminology used here is cab forward and hood forward. Furthermore, Misplaced Pages articles must be written in a way that a layman can understand them easily. Saying long hood instead of just hood sounds a bit more complex, however, that's just my take and you are welcome to change the 'hood' forward to 'long hood forward'. Also, the top speeds that I have mentioned are correct. They are taken from . In the PDF that I have attached, see the first paragraph. You will see the speed limit of WDG-4 stated to be 105kmph as per RDSO letter SD.WDG4.11 . Also, I know that the loco has a higher speed potential but reaching those speeds is deemed unsafe by CRS and RDSO which is why we need not mention it in the article. Hi. Up front, I can just hear you thinking "what, this again?". I'm sorry for that, and I'll try to keep it brief.
I saw the explanation on your user page, and understand it. However, there is a large part of the world whose knowledge of a particularly bad time in human history during which the word was mis-appropriated and perverted along with symbols like the swastika, exceeds their knowledge about the origins of those things. To those people, (including me, I'm afraid), it creates a perception that is incorrect (based on your user page statement). Since I only recently started seeing your name at the help desks, perhaps it will go away in time (I will be "de-sensitized" to it), but users who see it for the first time will largely have that reaction, just as they would in seeing a swastika (though the symbol is perhaps worse).
I'll note that I think you recently changed the font of your signature to "Stencil", which is also associated with military things (i.e., it resembles labeling that is stenciled on all sorts of military supplies and hardware), further reinforcing the mistaken impression.
I would ask you to seriously consider a change, even to something like "Field Marshal A", or something totally different. I'm sure the admins at WP:CHU would be happy to help.

- AlanM1, I understand what you mean. I guess I just have genuinely terrible luck because Aryan is my real name, the one that I was born with. Add to that my obsession for military history and technology. I have faced problems quite a few times, especially when I was on a trip to Germany, so I surely can see what non-Indians (not the native Americans) associate with my name. I am willing to change my name to 'Field Marshal' because I don't want to stir up drama and also because I hate Nazism and being associated with it, even out of ignorance, is pretty bad/hurtful. I appreciate that you brought up the matter with me though I still feel that it is really unfair that people from a certain culture or with a certain name are mis-associated with such a horrible thing. Hello, just a tip - I've noticed you've made an extra warning pack - you might prefer to add <!-- ##RW UNDERDATE## --> to your quick template content, rather than a fixed header as this will cause RedWarm to automatically place the notice under the date header (i.e. July 2020) as if it was added using RedWarn's built in new notice feature. Good evening, the page "Unipolar motor" is wrong: the unipolar motors aren't homopolar motors which have their Misplaced Pages page.
