==Early Life==
ProjectX, birth name Jarrian Thompson, was born August 11, 1998, in San Fernando,Trinidad and Tobago. After a tragic football season, ProjectX first started making beats in the seventh grade, at age 13, when his mother bought him a laptop and he got a copy of the popular production software FruityLoops. Initially, ProjectX wanted to rap, and started making beats so that he could have music to rap over, but after deciding that he liked making beats more than rapping, he put his full attention into production.

==Music Career==
As he continued to develop his production sound, while still in high school, ProjectX began to utilize social media properties, like Instagram, to network with bigger artists and submit beats. ProjectX first started selling instrumentals in the 11th grade to pursue a career in music, and, in an interview with Noisey, ProjectX says that Baton Rouge rapper's Geaux Yella & Scotty Cain was the first popular artist's to rap on his beats, besides older cousin Jacquees (Upcoming Rnb Artists) a string of collaborations that ultimately led to ProjectX meeting and working with August Alsina during the summer between his freshman and sophomore years of high school.

ProjectX moved to Scotlandville & attended Mckinley Magnet High School, playing basketball, but he ultimately chose to take a break from sports after a semester, because the schedule demands of a full-time music career became too much to balance. Since, ProjectX has collaborated with artists including Gucci Mane, Ludacris, Yo Gotti, Wiz Khalifa, Chief Keef, YG, Young Jeezy, Travi$ Scott, Ace Hood, Young Scooter, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Trinidad James, Que, Migos and more. ProjectX also regularly collaborates with other producers, including LameAssBudd, HaneyOnTheTrack, Dj Casanova, MjCool, and Deanglo.

ProjectX has also worked extensively with popular rapper Geaux Yella. The two first worked together on a song called "F*ck A N*gga", included on Geuax Yella's Dollar $igns Polo Horses mixtape, and have not collaborated since. ProjectX
