Hello, Catchpoke. On ], you mentioned you had a problem reporting a false positive Because the captcha just wouldn't work. == Changes on WikiProject Yoga ==

Hi, I notice you've started to make a range of changes to yoga articles, welcome. However, all the articles are fully-cited and have been carefully written; they are mainly in British English, which probably differs slightly from your personal diction, but doesn't mean their phraseology is incorrect.

On bibliographies, we generally don't attempt it: the literature on yoga is enormous, and Misplaced Pages is explicitly "not a catalogue" per policy (]), i.e. it is not our job to construct or maintain bibliographies, and in the case of yoga it would in any case be impossible. Therefore, please do not do anything in the direction of constructing a bibliography for any article on the WikiProject.

On "typology", it's to my ear an unattractive word, and (having a shelf of yoga books beside me) it's not one that I can recall being used either by yoga teachers in their books, or by scholars in theirs, at least for the usage you seem to wish to put it to. Further, Misplaced Pages has a clear policy of using plain words where these are available, so we should not use a polysyllabic latinate word where a short English word can do the job better.

I have accordingly reverted some of your proposed changes. I'm happy to discuss; I've brought over 30 of the project's articles through the formal review process to "Good Article" status, and have edited many more to a consistent standard, so we aren't starting from nowhere. As I said, the literature is vast, and there is always scope for improvement with new material from different sources, suitably cited; but as for the style and shape of the articles, that should not be modified without wide consensus, as it would imply sweeping change to reviewed materials. All the best, ] (]) 08:04, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
