I did read over everything you put, and I'm pretty confident they've got the gist from the help you gave them there - If there's still issues, it'll be on them. <span style="color:green">]]</span> 04:05, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 15

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mt. Fuji Records, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indie (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Too much hassle to argue against types like you. If you want errors in the article, you can have them. Have fun lying to people, I'm out. 91.10.43.65 (talk) 00:10, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi ThadeusOfNazereth. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Misplaced Pages:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ Amory (utc) 01:28, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

Acupuncture

Would you like to explain why you used roll back on my edits to the acupuncture page. In one case you added back obvious source misrepresentation. You are aware that roll back is for vandalism only?AlmostFrancis (talk) 07:54, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

@AlmostFrancis: - While this specific edit was in fact a misclick, after reading your comments and the original source, you're incorrect when you say it's "obvious source misrepresentation. The linked article states "Acupuncture may be considered as an adjuvant to conventional therapy (e.g  ., drugs, physical therapy, and exercise) in the treatment of nonspecific, noninflammatory low back pain.". ThadeusOfNazereth (talk) 16:41, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

"The majority of people who seek out acupuncture do so for musculoskeletal problems, including low back pain, shoulder stiffness, and knee pain." . The source is about Japan and the content misrepresents that by removing that context. You are aware that when you use rollback you are responsible for every edit you roll back and not just the one you don't like? You said it was a misclick and I am fine leaving it there but please be more careful in the future.AlmostFrancis (talk) 18:36, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
@AlmostFrancis: Again, this edit was a misclick. I know what rollback is for, reading the rules is one of the requirements to be awarded rollback rights and it says it right above this section on my talk page. Thanks for pointing out that citation, I didn't realize that was bundled with the accidental rollback I made. ThadeusOfNazereth (talk) 18:57, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

I really appreciate the barnstar, especially since this is the first time I've ever been awarded one! I don't really feel like I did too much besides aggregating sources, but I'm hoping someone can make good use of them. Hope you have a great day. :) TheTechnician27 (Talk page) 21:32, 12 November 2019 (UTC)

Hey Thefreshmaker22 (talk) 17:53, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

Do not give warnings if you have not read what you are giving warnings about

You just gave me a warning without even reading what you were reverting. That is incredibly unprofessional.

I specifically asked to take it to the talk page. If you are going to be unprofessional and refuse to use the talk page, then please refrain from making reverts or edits at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:100E:B02C:A55E:C01F:9C97:54B9:5E0D (talk) 05:31, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

In the future, make sure there's a consensus according to WP:CON before engaging in an edit war. A single comment in the talk page made by you doesn't constitute a consensus, and leaving passive-aggressive messages on registered editor's talk pages doesn't help your cause. You've been repeatedly asked to properly source the information you're adding to the page, and until you do so, your edits will continue to be reverted. No problem! It seems like the pages that get vandalized the most are always high school pages ;) ThadeusOfNazereth 04:16, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

Spieden Island

Hello,

I made a change to the above link which you removed.

The change I made was removing something that was unsourced and easily verified false. I did not add a source because I am unsure how to with the Washington State Business License search. If you have advice I would appreciate it as I am new to this.

The island is still owned by James Jannard. Here is a link to the parcel: https://parcel.sanjuanco.com/PropertyAccess/Property.aspx?cid=0&year=2019&prop_id=17456

Which states that it is owned by "Under The Radar, Inc."

When you plug it into: https://secure.dor.wa.gov/gteunauth/_/#1 You see that Under the Radar is owned by Jim (James) Jannard. But It won't let me link the license.

Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.185.168.138 (talk) 21:02, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

@208.185.168.138: I really appreciate you taking the time to do that! I’m on my phone at the moment but when I get an opportunity I’ll figure out how to cite that information and either update the article or leave a message on your talk page with info on how to do it. User talk:Zzuuzz/unprotected talk page

Boring trolls at it after managing to find the "unprotected" version. Nothing better to do except to vandalise. Iggy (Swan) (What I've been doing to maintain Misplaced Pages) 21:43, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

@Iggy the Swan: You're right about that - It looks like a bunch of different IPs, do you think they're using a VPN? I'm not sure how AIV requests work when vandalism's that prominent. ThadeusOfNazereth 21:46, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

VPN (you mean Virtual private network) - I do not have great knowledge in that but it I'd say yes, it looks like that's what's going on by the diagram used. It looks like things have quietened down now. Iggy (Swan) (What I've been doing to maintain Misplaced Pages) 21:55, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

I am not trying to justify my actions just letting you know that someone will be indeed positively contributing! Ocotpi73 (talk) 05:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

@Octopi73: There's no hard feelings from me! Before I started editing Misplaced Pages seriously, I vandalized a lot of pages so I know how funny it can seem - I appreciate your apology though, and I'm glad to hear that someone's going to be expanding that article! Nordic model

I would disagree with your definition of neutral. My edit where I pointed out the sexist nature of the Nordic model, in part by showing how it reversed the usual model for dealing with illegal trade, was simply telling the truth. Neutral would mean that neither the feminist perspective nor the men's rights perspective is favored. It is quite clear you favor the former over the latter (as do most if not all wikipedia editors) and therefore are NOT neutral.

@179.6.202.205: The neutral side is generally the side supported by academics. If the “feminist” side is supported by academics, and the “men’s rights” side isn’t, then it would appear you’re in fact biased towards the “men’s-rights” side. In addition, Reddit isn’t an acceptable source for information on “men’s rights.” ThadeusOfNazereth 14:08, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

Please comment on Talk:Libertarianism

Please comment on the discussion regarding the use of the term "right libertarian" to describe libertarians that do not oppose free markets, and that do not make a clear distinction between laissez-faire capitalism and advocacy of free markets. This discussion can be found on the talk page for the Libertarianism article. The term is primarily used in a derogatory way and by self-described "left-libertarians". The individuals described in that article, and in the poorly-titled right-libertarianism article do not typically identify with the political right - or the political for that matter. Rejina Sabur-Cross

I am a personal friend of Rejina Sabur-Cross and a vindictive relative in Bangladesh (who is currently embroiled in the scandalous theft of her mother's land out there) saw fit to publish personal details about her address and also her very young children. She would appreciate complete removal of the page tbh as she hasn't written about food for a really long time. Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Juie45 (talkcontribs) 19:32, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

Do not send me a warning

Hi there. Please do not send me a warning first. I forgot to explain it previously. Now could you send me a welcome message instead. Please do not scare on a warning message to me. So please send me a welcome message instead. I promise I will do better next time. OK? Thanks. 50.92.230.195 (talk) 04:17, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

@50.92.230.195: For clarification, I sent a general note before the warning - I want to encourage you to post on Arielle Vandenberg's talk page with your reasoning for why the relationship history should be removed! Fostering discussion is the best way to learn how Misplaced Pages works. ThadeusOfNazereth 04:21, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

I'm not vadalizing

I made omissions to the Garcia (actor) page because most of the information posted is inaccurate and wish for it to be removed. I'm not trying to vandalize it. I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wizopp (talkcontribs) 04:51, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

@Wizopp: The information you're removing is properly sourced. If you have reason to believe that it is inaccurate, you need to open a discussion on Garcia (actor)'s talk page with counter-sources so that we can reach a consensus. I would check WP:CON for more info on that process! ThadeusOfNazereth 04:55, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

Please

I understand that this information may be viewed as "properly sourced" but I personally rather it not be there (it's my page, the page is about me) and a lot of it is iffy and if anything at all.. please don't reject my minor edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wizopp (talkcontribs) 05:05, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

@Wizopp: If that's the case, check this page and email the address there, they should be able to help and normally have the ability to permanently remove some personal information or delete articles altogether. I can't guarantee that works, but that's the best outlet you have to avoid getting blocked by other editors. In the meantime, I'll try and clean up that page and see if there's anything I can do to minimize your personal information. ThadeusOfNazereth 18:21, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

I will try that address. And I thank you in the meantime. I only wish to represent myself in an honest manner and I feel that those who have created/contributed to my page have reduced me down to my gender identity, which is hurtful and I'm so much more than just being "transgender." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wizopp (talkcontribs) 00:41, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

Honorifics

Hello - your recent edit of has been reverted as it breaches MoS. Please review — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C5:9313:B900:C501:3B5E:927A:2FE8 (talk) 19:36, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

@2A00:23C5:9313:B900:C501:3B5E:927A:2FE8: In the future, make sure that edits you make don't break the grammatical flow of the sentence. I see you fixed it after a little bit of back and forth, but make sure that in trying to fix one error you don't introduce another. ThadeusOfNazereth 21:52, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
I kindly suggest that you reply to people in a polite fashion rather than giving orders. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C5:9313:B900:C501:3B5E:927A:2FE8 (talk) 22:01, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
I'm not going to get into an argument on my talk page, but telling you to follow all parts of the MOS, not just specific pieces you've cherry-picked, isn't really an "order" since you agree to do that when you make an edit. ThadeusOfNazereth 23:40, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
Your initial reply included ’make sure that edits you’ and ‘make sure that in trying‘ ... those are orders. A polite and constructive reply would not have been so imperative.
Your recent reply included ‘telling you to follow’ ... that is another order. Again, those wishing to be polite would not ‘tell’ others.
’I'm not going to get into an argument’ ... that is very telling. Both my previous comments were polite, including polite requests, so that response of yours suggests a confrontational thought process: review of civility should be informative. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C5:9313:B900:C501:3B5E:927A:2FE8 (talk) 00:14, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
@2A00:23C5:9313:B900:C501:3B5E:927A:2FE8: I've been nothing if not civil. If you have any other issues with my, you can let an administrator know at WP:ANI. Otherwise, the edit dispute was resolved yesterday and there's no need for you to lecture me about Misplaced Pages's rules. ThadeusOfNazereth 03:11, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
Your language has been anything other than civil: you have consistently used an imperative tone by repeatedly giving orders, and never once used any form of politeness. Your recent response continues with such, for example misrepresentating polite requests as ‘lecturing’ ... this is highly suggestive of projecting your attitude onto me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C5:9313:B900:C501:3B5E:927A:2FE8 (talk) 11:04, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
@2A00:23C5:9313:B900:C501:3B5E:927A:2FE8: Again, I see no issue with my conduct. The edit dispute has been taken care of for two days now. If you have any other issues, you can file a report at WP:ANI. Thanks. ThadeusOfNazereth 14:16, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

Reese's edit

Hi Thadeus,

I'm confused as to why you reverted my edit to the Reese's Whipps page. Would a citation help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.39.71.158 (talk) 23:51, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

@38.39.71.158: Yes - You've previously been blocked for making unsourced claims on similar articles. If you'd like to make the addition, you need to provide a source for what you're saying. You can see how to do that at WP:T ThadeusOfNazereth 23:54, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

It is blatant vandalism, and the IP just came off of a block for making the identical edit. The IP is still blocked on another IP so this is block evasion. IP, leave it alone or this will end up at SPI. Meters (talk) 23:56, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
Or we'll get this page protected as the other pages are. Meters (talk) 23:58, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
@Meters: If it's the same IP why would it need to go to SPI? ThadeusOfNazereth 23:59, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
Same user, multiple IPs. Waited out a short block on this IP but still blocked on at least one other IP. Meters (talk) 00:01, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
Okay, I'll see if I can track down the article which mentions this and I'll refrain from re-adding the bit until such time as I can confidently source it. Thank you guys for your help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.39.71.158 (talk) 00:02, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
See history of Reese's Pieces and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. This stupidity has been going on for three weeks. I'm going to get any further IPs blocked or all the articles protected. Meters (talk) 00:06, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
Awesome, thank you! I didn't realize how long it'd been going on, I'm surprised they didn't just put a temp-protection on all related articles. ThadeusOfNazereth 00:07, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

Jaggi Vasudev

Hello! This is about an edit which was made and a summary was provided. The action was reverted by you and was termed as 'mistake'. This is to inform you that it wasn't the case. Edits are being made to make Misplaced Pages article better which take both time and energy of editors, any action regarding the edits must be made after confirming on the talk page of the users. Also, the page had been tagged to remove 'poorly sourced' and 'potentially libelous' contents. It says that article needs immediate removal of such information. Please contribute to the same. Thanks Abhayoct13th (talk) 21:49, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

Abhayoct13th, I took a quick look through the previous revisions of the page and could not find any that were tagged as such - if you could point me to which revision had that tag, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll continue to revert your edits that are removing properly sourced information and I'll encourage you now to wait for a consensus on the talk page before removing that information. If you can leave a source on the talk page saying his foundation did not break rules, that would be extremely helpful as well. Thanks!

I understand what you said. But what about my properly sourced information that I provided related to the subject's title and him being renowned internationally. I provided reliable sources but you reverted them too. And you said to leave a source that he didn't break rules, please keep in mind that the allegations mentioned in the article, have also not been proved and the citing has only been done of accusations which makes the article baised. I hope you'll be professional and be conducive in rendering unbiased information. But it is appearing that you're personally not wanting to the article to be amended. Abhayoct13th (talk) 22:52, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

About reverted edits.

Hello. This is about the reverted edits on the page Jaggi Vasudev. You reverted three of my edits made to the page. If two of my edits appeared as vandalism in any manner, I will definitely try to be more precise while editing and writing the edit summary. But the first edit related to Title and added citations, being reversed was a disappointment. It provided proper citations but still you reverted it. The article itself is demanding better sources and removal of poorly sourced citations showing tabloid journalism. If you will revert everything in the name of vandalism, then it would discourage other editors. You seem to be in some authority, please be open to every suggestion. It appears as if you personally don't want any changes to be made to the article. Abhayoct13th (talk) 22:07, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

@Abhayoct13th: Hey! So when I make reversions, sometimes I can only see the most recent edit you've made and have to make a decision based on that. In this case, the interface only showed me that you removed the properly sourced content, so I reverted based on that. If you have additions to make that have citations, go ahead and make those - I apologize that those got caught up. As far as the "libelous sources" and the tags - Unless you can specifically show that those articles are fake or reach a consensus with other editors on the talk page, they should stay - We want to maintain a neutral point of view WP:NPOV. I don't see the tags saying that it's poorly sourced or has libelous information on either the article or the talk page - If you could point me to where those tags are I'd appreciate it :).
Other than that I think the rest of this discussion should happen on the talk page - I see you already made a post there. If you could add some sources against the specific sections there it would be really helpful! ThadeusOfNazereth 23:13, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

Wind Turbine

Hi ThadeusOfNazereth. I've just added sources in the article. Back me, please - this whole article looks like a joke. Or well paid document written somewhere where it doesn't surely suppose do be. Let's not be biased! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Programmer Physicist (talkcontribs) 22:04, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

@Programmer Physicist: Thank you! I went ahead and converted them into citations (if you use the visual editor, there's a really easy tool that'll automatically pull the citation data and create a more complete one than just a link). I'm not knowledgeable enough on the subject to necessarily comment on the accuracy of the article itself, but if you open a discussion on the talk page I'm sure there'll be some interest. Thanks for contributing to Misplaced Pages! ThadeusOfNazereth 22:09, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

So, that's how you do it properly - use Visual Editor! I'm back from the olden days when there was a lot of original research and almost no external sources. From now on I'm going to use Visual Editor to correctly insert citations. And I would definitely like to start a discussion on that topic but my biggest problem is the lack of time :( But you'll see anyway - anything I added with your help will be deleted, sooner or later - it's another polically correct utopia, unfortunately, where big companies make really big money. Just like it was with leaded gasoline - for years we've been told it's completely harmless. If nuclear enegery is barely holding in the U.S. and Germany is phasing it out completely we can't do anything here. But it was worhty a try and yeah - thank you very much for your help. I hit "thank you" link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Programmer Physicist (talkcontribs) 00:13, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

Salvatore Palella page

Hi, there. I've got your message about Salvatore Palella pages. Unfortunately, this person have a scam-record. Please, could you explain, how to get information for you, to make you sure it's true.

1. At first: about Helbiz project. This person raised money by ICO in 2018 year and now deceived investors and delete all information about ICO. Here is described situation: http://hbznews.com/introduction. Please, take a 5 minutes to read information there. There are YouTube video, with Salvatore Palella where is clearly he is talking about Helbiz coin and Helbiz coin listing on crypto-exchanges. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=us9Xj22LtCM&t=148s

Currently time, he and his company absolutely abandoned the project. Rename the Initial company with which they celebrated the ICO in Singapore HELBIZ MOBILITY SYSTEM PTE. LTD. to HBZ SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. Look the proof: https://opencorporates.com/companies/sg/201804871N

HBZ SYSTEMS PTE. LTD." now is struck off You can check information here: https://www.tis.bizfile.gov.sg.

Helbiz had created new companies in USA - Helbiz Inc and a few branches include Helbiz CA LLC and announced double IPO with NASDAQ and Borsa Italiana.

It's absolutely scam story. Mr. Palella spend money to hide all connection with it. He attracted 4 lawyers firm to take-down HBZnews, but he has no success with it.

We attract Spanish and Italian moderators to help him delete all connection with ICO in Misplaced Pages. Helbiz history have a lot information in the google, just try to find "Helbiz ICO" in google - there will be a lots of results

2. Second, about S.S.D. Acireale Calcio 1946. Look the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_8-iUJqDJY&feature=emb_logo with demonstrated agains Palella

3. Witamine. Look hear information. http://www.portalecreditori.it/procedura?id=VgMoWLXMY3 There are PDF with court decision.

Please, ask what information you need, to get, that this persons try to give money from investors and finally scammed they. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.72.162.37 (talk) 22:26, 29 February 2020 (UTC)

New England Kicker

It is significant that he is a member of a white supremacist organization. It also is cited. If you remove it again, it is a violation of 3RR. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GeeZee (talkcontribs) 00:11, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

GeeZee, {u|GeeZee}}, Since I've only reverted that edit twice I'm actually not in violation of 3RR. Either way, you're continuing to add improperly sourced information that's based on a Twitter post and original research, which is against WP:RS and means my reversions are allowed as an exception to 3RR. ThadeusOfNazereth 00:30, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

It's a photograph which is the same photograph as the second footnote in the article. It is not original research. Stop reverting. Take it to arb if you want. He's a white supremacist. What's your agenda?

GeeZee, The Twitter post you're linking too doesn't mention anything about his tattoo or membership in the III Percenters, which means that you're making a connection not made by any reliable source. I think the accusation that I somehow have an "agenda" to cover up white supremacy is laughable, and looking at my userpage would be enough to clear that up. ThadeusOfNazereth 00:34, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

I suggest this: https://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution — Preceding unsigned comment added by GeeZee (talkcontribs) 00:47, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

GeeZee If you'd like to try and resolve the dispute that's fine, you'll just need to open an RFC on the article's talk page about whether your proposed edit should go into the article or not. That'll bring uninvolved editors to voice their opinions. In the meantime, the page would be kept without your proposed edit. ThadeusOfNazereth 00:51, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

4 Witnesses

All 4 new witnesses are not in the article. Is there a limit? Cox wasan (talk) 22:55, 27 April 2020 (UTC)

Cox wasan, the edit I reverted listed Reade's neighbor, brother, and friend. The brother and friend are mentioned in the section "New York Times' investigative reporting," and the neighbor is listed in the section "Reade's account." ThadeusOfNazereth 22:59, 27 April 2020 (UTC)

Baruch Terrorist plot constitutes him as such

The only edit I made reflects his attempt to bomb London. A plot that is added already within the wiki but has been downplayed as something other than it is. Bombings, attempted or otherwise motivated by political reasoning consistutes the act as a form of terrorism by definition. This event should be placed in its own category and should not be swept under the vague section of contribution.

Reverting the edit only serves to further the downplaying of his actions. I will add more content to further expand on his plot to bomb London and labeling him as a terrorist does not take away from his other roles as activist and community organizer. It honestly deserves its own pagwe. What you are participating in is historical revisionism not enforcing wikipedia rules and I would like to see you defend the revision when the subject in question fits the textbook definition.

Thank you Somali Strawhat (talk) 17:41, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

Somali Strawhat, The reason I reverted your edit is that the bombing plot isn't referred to as terrorism anywhere else on the page, and a quick Google search finds that the only sources describing him as a terrorist come from anti-semetic blogs, which aren't considered reliable sources per WP:RS. I see somebody else reverted your edits, so I think it would be best to put your concern on the article talk page where it'll get viewed by people more knowledgeable on the subject than me. ThadeusOfNazereth 17:48, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

Ok, but if nobody classified a bombing motivated by political means as an act of terrorism, why would simply adding that which is a form of either anti semitism or vandalsim.

The Irgun group of which he was a part of participated in numerous barrel bombings as a form of retaliation to the Exodus incident. Some of these bombing killed children.

Thats terrorism, and the fact that he was arrested and the events were already documented on this wiki. Its a proper classification that was previously omitted for whatever reason. You do not need a reliable source for textbook definitions. Somali Strawhat (talk) 17:54, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

A message from Ed6767 about RedWarn

RedWarn - user feedback needed!
RedWarn - user feedback needed!

Hello RedWarn tester! I hate to reitterate, but thank you so much for being willing to test RedWarn, I really appreciate it.

In the past few updates, I have added AIV (admin) reporting, a preferences panel, themes, customisation options and made many, many bug fixes and added many features based on your suggestions and feedback.

Unfortunately, recently feedback has run dry.

Even if you do not use RedWarn at the moment, or you do (tysm), I would greatly appreciate feedback of any kind. While I go round Twinkle users, sounding like that broadband salesperson in the mall that nobody ever wants to speak to, I'd like some updated feedback from recent and current users.

Any sort of feedback below would be greately appreciated!

  • Your first impressions when you tried RedWarn?

Dear brother, You deleted an edit, without STUDY or being an EARTH XXI Citizen, as such without being, and possible thus unaware of the civil changes and without the correct civil study necessary to know and understand the specific supranational change, and without checking the SUPREME COUNCIL of HUMANITY members listed in the linked part edited.

www.glob-use.org

thus, until know better it is unwise to remove the edits.

with more experience you would know the edit was valid.

not having the experience does not qualify you to remove the edits made.

Thank you for your understanding,

36.83.192.146, your source doesn't appear to pass WP:RS muster after a cursory glance, and your edit is chock-full of grammatical errors that make it impossible to include on the wiki in its current form. If you sincerely believe what you have should be on the page, you can petition for it on the article's talk page. ThadeusOfNazereth 00:20, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

your comment - Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Supranational law.

Untrue Sir.

for and in the construction of the future beyond the current limitations of the old article that was written with lesser experience and thus also lesser understanding on the subject. The final edit also was without grammatical errors.

pardon my ALL UPPERCASE CAPITAL LETTERS at the beginning merely putting emphasis on what was added to the article however I did go back and change it.

Yes I sincerely believe it should be included, to help the world unite and consolidate in the now XXI/21st century.

That which was added is already agreed upon by many other professors, philosophers, nobel laureates, and international gusi peace prize laureates from all around the world.

with a little more research rather than a cursory glance you would or will realise this.

I might add rather than putting so much effort into the removal of it, if you would as much effort into trying keep the edit there you would be doing the world a better service.

Perhaps even you might join the Earth XXI Citizenship at some point and write such a better article yourself in service to humanity and this bright blue green planet we live on.

Your service would be most welcome.

Regardless of all the different fluff and muster to remove the edit, a complement to you brother as it seems to be that you are one that knows how to get past all that so that something so wonderfully world changing would have great effect via wikipedia (I admit I am new to it) perhaps out of the kindness of your heart you may look through the edits and research more to make the edit correct to stay on the article page or write a new better even more informative one that would help draw people's attention to the wonder of the new higher Earth solution that is the U S E.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

In highest Regards

Adam Riess

Dear Misplaced Pages

My name is Adam Riess and I am an American Astrophysicist and winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the accelerating Universe and Dark Energy.

I recently noticed that there have been two efforts to “vandalize” my wikipedia entry

1). A user name BattleOrc (who I understand to be (Redacted)) has been putting in a section called “Controversy” about his teams work denying the existence of dark Energy. They are free to have their own opinion, but they are fringe and my bio entry is not an appropriate place to air their grievances and dispute with the Nobel Prize.

I have removed this section and explained why in the comments but BattleOrc keeps restoring it.

2) A section on the Calan/Tololo Survey seeking credit for the Nobel work. The Calan/Tololo Project has its own wikipedia entry and that is the appropriate place to discuss it. Not my bio entry.

I have removed this section (writing as 130.167.171.156) but BattleOrc keeps restoring it.

I consider these attempts to settle scores or air grievances in my biographical entry in appropriate at best and libelous at worst. My bio entry should be simple and to the point and not have sections on other people’s diatribes, respectfully.

I kindly request that my entry is “frozen” so that it can’t be edited again by BattleOrc.

Best Adam Riess — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.167.171.156 (talk) 02:13, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

130.167.171.156, I appreciate your detailed explanation. I’m currently at work away from my computer but when I get home tommorow I’ll read through the sources BattleOrc added and try to write up an WP:RPP request. You will probably have the best luck posting a thread at WP:ANI, so that an actual administrator can intervene.

I will say that generally if there is controversy surrounding someone’s research that would be included in an article, but a search from my phone didn’t actually turn up anything on you so I doubt that’ll end up being an issue. ThadeusOfNazereth 04:14, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

Adam Riess. While you are free to disclose your own identity, please do not speculate on the identity of other editors unless they have voluntarily disclosed it per WP:OUTING. If you have information concerning someone's identity that concerns us, please email it to an administrator or perhaps arbcom. Take a read of the earlier linked section on outing, as well as WP:COI for further information about how to deal with such matters. Nil Einne (talk) 05:06, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
130.167.171.156, I finally got a chance to take a look and it looks like you were correct. Unless something changes, the "Controversy" section has been removed and most of the criticism was removed as well for being original research (the sources didn't support the claims). Anything else will eventually get figured out as editors come and go from the page, but I'll keep an eye on it for the next week or so. ThadeusOfNazereth 11:23, 7 May 2020 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted

Hi ThadeusOfNazereth. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:

  • Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
  • You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
  • If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
  • Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.

The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. signed, Rosguill 00:18, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

Justin Rohrwasser

And after all that effort that you put in, telling me that his college's official photo wasn't evidence that he had a three percent tattoo, guess what happened?

Good job protecting a white supremacist, Thadeus. You won your little wiki battle. But you lost the war. Good always will triumph. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GeeZee (talkcontribs) 04:42, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

GeeZee, this is how Misplaced Pages works. If you look at the source list for Justin Rohrwasser, you'll note that neither Twitter or his college's official photo is used as a source. If you had taken the fifteen extra seconds to find a source that passed WP:RS muster, you wouldn't have been blocked. I'll refer you to WP:RGW and, given that you've very nearly accused me of being a white supremacist, tell you to not comment on my talk page about your edits to that page again. New Page Reviewer newsletter June 2020

Hello ThadeusOfNazereth,

Your help can make a difference

NPP Sorting can be a great way to find pages needing new page patrolling that match your strengths and interests. Using ORES, it divides articles into topics such as Literature or Chemistry and on Geography. Take a look and see if you can find time to patrol a couple pages a day. With over 10,000 pages in the queue, the highest it's been since ACPERM, your help could really make a difference.

Google Adds New Languages to Google Translate

In late February, Google added 5 new languages to Google Translate: Kinyarwanda, Odia (Oriya), Tatar, Turkmen and Uyghur. This expands our ability to find and evaluate sources in those languages.

Discussions and Resources
  • A discussion on handling new article creation by paid editors is ongoing at the Village Pump.
  • Also at the Village Pump is a discussion about limiting participation at Articles for Deletion discussion.
  • A proposed new speedy deletion criteria for certain kinds of redirects ended with no consensus.
  • Also ending with no change was a proposal to change how we handle certain kinds of vector images.

Nick Searcy

Hi, I deleted the vandalism by 50.39.103.254. I do have a Misplaced Pages account and have been editing often for over ten years. The reason I did not log in before reverting is because my Wiki account uses my real name, and I am an author of some note. Regardless of my work, I have concerns that whoever vandalized the Searcy article may look for retribution. Searcy is a polarising figure re politics, and after he posted a screen capture of the vandalism, I simply wanted to bring his article back to Wiki standards without possibly putting my family, work, or reputation in jeopardy of social media stalkers. I hope you understand. Thanks. 131.179.61.12 (talk) 00:52, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know - I'll keep an eye on the article to see what happens with it. Smart of you to log out first, I've had people harass me on my personal Instagram before because of vandalism reverts. ThadeusOfNazereth 00:54, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Clock

Hey. I noticed you reverted an IP users additions to clock as vandalism. You've been here longer than me but I just wanted to point out that it does appear that Benjamin Banneker built the first clock, or at least is suspected to. Thanks! -OXYLYPSE (talk) 16:14, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

OXYLYPSE, that might be true (I am by no means a clock expert), but the insertion at the front of the lead would need to be rolled back regardless because it's out of place and breaks the flow of the article. Thanks for letting me know about marking it vandalism, I need to do a better job of using RedWarns other rollback options :P ThadeusOfNazereth 16:17, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
No worries, just wanted to point that out :). I'm quite enjoying RedWarn myself. Take care! - OXYLYPSE (talk) 21:09, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

IGR J11014−6103 article

Ok. I wrote the Wiki article but in hindsight you are correct. The article the way it was/is conveys information well. I'm in a tizzy because I've figured out what causes the jets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.150.58.4 (talk) 01:03, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

CentristPOV and reply

I made an edit to a page where it was left off that Antifa is a far left terrorist organization and it was removed even though it is. If this site allows leftists to add far right, neo-Nazi and other unfounded misinformation why is a proven fact removed as being “not neutral”?

@CentristPOV: If you can point me to any actual "misinformation" relating to neo-Nazi groups, I would be more than happy to revert it for you. As it stands, Antifa isn't categorized as a "terrorist organization" by Misplaced Pages, because there isn't a consensus as to whether it actually is one or not. Misplaced Pages is first and foremost an encyclopedia - We do not make any conclusions for ourselves, rather, we collect and present information from a variety of sources. Both the pages Antifa (Germany) and Antifa (United States) discuss the allegations of terrorist activity. ThadeusOfNazereth 07:00, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:50, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Senator's votes

Hi ThadusofNazareth! Thank you for the kind message; I was in the middle of a username change so things were a bit tricky. My background is in Journalism so I've been lamenting the loss of information in articles in recent years. I think the lack of information and background in a lot of stories is detrimental to our society because it doesn't allow us to gain a full view of why certain people or populations behave the way they do. I'm never going to be thrilled with all the choices any President makes but I think understanding the reasoning behind each decision goes a long way into a deeper understanding of each person. If you're open to it, I would love to brainstorm ways that information can be mentioned as objectionably as possible. I think it's important that readers understand the context. What do you mean by "living or recently deceased"

You wrote on my talk page.SweetMilkTea13 (talk) 03:27, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

@SweetMilkTea13: That's just the template message, the template can be used in response to edits on a living persons page or somebody who has recently died. I reverted your edit because, while I don't doubt that Sloan harbors extremely racist views, he isn't described as a "Nazi" or "white supremacist" anywhere else in the article, and we have to maintain WP:NPOV. ThadeusOfNazereth 03:31, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Please elaborate on your comments ~~

Hi, could you elaborate on the comments you left for me? I am not sure what my actual mistake is. I'd like to make corrections. ThanksCYTurkey (talk) 00:49, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

@CYTurkey: The edit you made adding "Lawyer" to the infobox was fine! I reverted because your second edit, which added some information, didn't follow the citation format. You just copy-pasted the url, which can mess up the flow of the page. WP:CS has a lot of information on how to create citations, but the easiest thing to do is use the "Cite" button at the top of the editor. If you click that, it'll open a tutorial to create a proper citation. ThadeusOfNazereth 01:02, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

New Page Patrol December Newsletter

Hello ThadeusOfNazereth,

A chart of the 2020 New Page Patrol Queue

Year in review

It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

Respectfully

Respectfully, I think you made a mistake. Can you please review your rejection of Draft:Jon Dalzell, and approve it? He qualifies under the wp basketball notability rules. WP:NBASKETBALL. Because he played in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. --2604:2000:E010:1100:8813:945C:33AD:2B50 (talk) 19:36, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

@2604:2000:E010:1100:8813:945C:33AD:2B50: Done - I must've jumped completely over the mention of the Israeli league when I reviewed the guidelines. If you get a chance, please update the Eurobasket source so that it is a link to his actual page - The URL is redirecting to a 404 page. ThadeusOfNazereth 19:49, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Thanks. I will try - but I am confused as to how that happens. I accessed the information which was clearly shown and copied the url from that page today, but as you say when it is accessed through the article it redirects to a 404 page - even though it worked when I accessed it. Confused as to how to fix it. 2604:2000:E010:1100:8813:945C:33AD:2B50 (talk) 20:05, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

Request clarification

Hi,

Thanks for the review and comments (and sadly, rejection of) the article https://en.wikipedia.org/Draft:Kamal_Mallick#cite_ref-2

WRT your comments: Reference 2: is actually a live site that mentions the date of death of all well known musicians in the obituary page. So, your comment that it is dead may not be entirely correct.

"Sangeet Piyasi : Official website". sangeetpiyasi.org. Retrieved 2020-10-18. :

http://sangeetpiyasi.org/obituary.html

Reference 3 is a Newspaper clip depicting the President of India honouring the subject of the page being written for . This newspaper does not have an online archive and I'd like to request you to tell me how else can I use this reference as?

I have also included many links to his great body of work under external links.

Any other suggestions for improving the page are welcome.

WikiArnabB (talk) 06:06, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

@WikiArnabB:, thank you for that info. For whatever reason, I am getting a "Server Error in '/' Application" when I try to access that page. As for the newspaper article, I recommend trying to upload it to https://archive.org. The sources you've added in the "External Links" section look good, but usually external links aren't evaluated as references. Perhaps creating a "Compositions" section with a list of those pieces and the articles discussing them linked would let you beef up the references list. ThadeusOfNazereth 06:29, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

18th December, 2020 Hi, thank you for the advice. As suggested, I have moved reference 3 to archive.com and linked it on the reference. I have also moved some of the notabe External links to the main body - especially those where a popular newspaper has mentioned the person / performance in a published article and given the relevant links. I am hoping these should suffice.

With special regard to the obituary note, I just checked it again and it is opening smoothly on all systems/devices/browsers in my residence and among my friends I sent it to. The website http://sangeetpiyasi.org/ lists most of the musical geniuses from the field Indian Classical Music in their Obituary section. I wonder why you are unable to open it. I could send you a screenshot, but this window doesn't allow images.

Looking forward to your review and further advice/approval. Regs WikiArnabB (talk) 07:40, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

Cite Unseen update

Hello! Thank you for using Cite Unseen. The script recently received a significant update, detailed below.

  • You can now toggle which icons you do or don't want to see. See the configuration section for details. All icons are enabled by default except for the new Green checkmark generally reliable icon (described below).
  • New categorizations/icons:
    • Megaphone Advocacy: Organizations that are engaged in advocacy (anything from political to civil rights to lobbying). Note that an advocacy group can be reliable; this indicator simply serves to note when a source's primary purpose is to advocate for certain positions or policies, which is important to keep in mind when consuming a source.
    • Hand writing Editable: Sites that are editable by the public, such as wikis (Misplaced Pages, Fandom) or some databases (IMDb, Discogs).
    • Red journal with an X Predatory journals: These sites charge publication fees to authors without checking articles for quality and legitimacy.
    • Perennial source categories: Cite Unseen will mark sources as Green checkmark generally reliable, Exlamation mark in orange triangle marginally reliable, No symbol generally unreliable, Stop hand deprecated, and Black X blacklisted. This is based on Misplaced Pages's perennial sources list, which reflects community consensus on frequently discussed sources. Sources that have multiple categorizations are marked as Blue question mark varied reliability. Note that Green checkmark generally reliable icons are disabled by default to reduce clutter, but you can enable them through your custom config. A special thanks to Newslinger, whose new Sourceror API provides the perennial sources list in a clean, structured format.
  • With the addition of the new categorizations, the biased source icon has been removed. This category was very broad, and repetitive to the new advocacy and perennial sources categorizations that are more informative.

If you have any feedback, requested features, or domains to add/remove, don't hesitate to bring it up on the script's talk page. Thank you! ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 23:09, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

YAL Article

Hi Thaddeus, I understand that the tweets may not be seen as a good source for the current allegations concerning the YAL. However, would this article from the Liberty Herald count as a credible enough source reporting on the allegations? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kanlhew (talkcontribs) 03:07, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

@Kanlhew:, First of all, thank you for finding that - I'm not involved in the LP anymore, and I didn't even think of finding LP-connected news sources. While I cannot speak for the potential opinion of other editors, I think that would be fine as it's a fairly large blog (almost 16,000 subscribers on the email list), the blog has a history of publishing news of interest to libertarians, and the article itself does not take a stance. If you'd like to reinstate your edits, replacing the tweet link with that article, that would be fine. I will see if I can find any other sources as well. ThadeusOfNazereth 04:41, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
UPDATE: I went ahead and did this myself - If you find anything else feel free to add it! ThadeusOfNazereth 04:46, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

hi Thadeus,

thanks for monitoring page changes so vigilantly; sorry I didn't include my edit summary. I removed three references that undermined the page's neutrality (opinion pieces from yovenice.com and venicecurrent.com were cited as facts), and removed one redundancy ("he is gay" in the opening paragraph was redundant when his sexuality, marriage, and husband are discussed in his personal life section). can you please restore the changes I made? thank you.

Ilovelosangeles95, I'm taking a look right now - I actually meant to look over the page history because I thought it seemed a bit weird, but it must've slipped my mind. ThadeusOfNazereth 00:47, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
@Ilovelosangeles95:, while I haven't 100% restored your edits, the article should be more balanced now and the inappropriate material in the lead was removed. If you want to make further edits, feel free! Just make sure you leave an edit summary :) ThadeusOfNazereth 00:55, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Thanks - article (Patrick McGrath Irish Republican)

I appreciate your edits and comments. I'm pretty new to this system of creating articles. I submitted the article many months ago and didn't have much faith in the approval process. I tried to include a photo of Paddy McGrath but found it impossible to do. The photo was used in multiple newspaper articles about McGrath but I couldn't figure out how the system worked so I left it out. Do you have any suggestions on how I can navigate the photo insertion process? Again, thanks for your help.Palisades1 (talk) 15:22, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

@Palisades1:, while I’m not 100% certain as it’s not my area of expertise, you would no need to go through the process at WP:UPIMAGES and ask any questions that arise as you do that at WP:HELPDESK. The biggest thing when uploading images is making sure that they’re copyright free, which many old images are. In Ireland, I know that if photos are available in museums they are public domain, but you’d have to research your own rules to make sure. If the newspapers are publicly available, though, I’m sure that the images are as well.

I appreciate you sticking through the process - We have a perpetual backlog, but everything eventually gets looked at! Hopefully if you stick around, it’ll be something that interests you one day :) ThadeusOfNazereth 19:29, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. signed, Rosguill 20:29, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

RE: January 2021

Have you tried asking who is this person? It is this guy (see this page history. (CC) Tbhotch 02:15, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

I have not, because I'm not involved. If there are other issues, you should be templating them and reporting them, not reverting, clogging up the page history, and clogging up recent changes. If it's a sockpuppet, there's an established route to take to deal with that. ThadeusOfNazereth 02:18, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
So, you are giving a WMF banned editor a chance to explain themselves. You said it, you are not involved. You don't know who is this guy, you don't know the Wikihounding they are doing right now, and you don't know the long-term abuse this user has performed. What happened at Invincible is just a fraction of what this user has done, but if you want to give them the chance, please, feel free to explain this new proxy why their behavior is inappropriate. (CC) Tbhotch 02:23, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
Tbhotch, I very obviously didn't. The only thing I saw was you and another user reverting each other with no edit summaries. You're being extremely aggressive at the moment, and I'm going to ask you to not comment on my talk page again until you calm down. ThadeusOfNazereth 02:25, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Point La Vista Cape (Jacksonville) - Newly Published Starter Article

1. I would like to have our article tagged in "Wiki Project Florida". Might you help? 2. Re: Needed additional citations...is there an Editor process which flags unverifiable Citations or References? My sources are: 19th Century government surveyor Township Maps for Duval County, other city maps, Deeds and Plats from local Title companies or Duval County Clerk of Courts and a bibliography of published articles and books.

Thanks "ThadeusOfNazereth" for your attention to our article. We believe it makes a nice addition to the "Neighborhoods of Jacksonville" Wiki article which also features "Riverside and Avondale, Arlington and San Marco (Jacksonville") among other sections of Jacksonville, Florida. (In case you didn't know, Jacksonville is the largest city in the USA since it covers the whole county called Duval). PointLaVista (talk) 20:56, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Point La Vista

@PointLaVista: Howdy! I added the WP:Wikiproject Florida tag to the talk page, so it should be listed there soon. For citations, it's usually a longer process. You have the references, which all appear good, so the two things I would recommend are A) add more inline citations (you can see how to do this at WP:INLINE and B) add more accessible references. By accessible references, I mean ones that can be accessed and verified by other editors. I don't doubt that you have access to the books and articles you cite, but adding links to their Google Books page or copies that are available on the Internet Archive would go a long way.
Oftentimes, the citation needed template will stay there for several months before somebody who volunteers in that area happens upon your article. As long as y'all keep making the quality improvements you have been, I don't think there will be any problems. You can also reach out to the editor who added the template to see if they have more specific feedback. ThadeusOfNazereth 21:38, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

I will have to find the Editor who did the Template. Thanks again... very helpful. PointLaVista (talk) 02:15, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

User - Tartan357 is illegally changing and tagging Aung San Suu Kyi as Former State Counsellor of Myanmar in Aung San Suu Kyi wiki page

Here is his message to me.

I'm Tartan357. Your recent edit(s) to the page Aung San Suu Kyi appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

Could you kindly help to monitor this user - He is definitely from Burma Military — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zhong ST (talkcontribs) 23:35, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

Zhong ST, Misplaced Pages is not a vehicle for you to spread disinformation. You know as well as I do that Aung San Suu Kyi is no longer in office. You've now reverted past my {{uw-error4}} warning, so I expect you will be blocked soon. ― Tartan357  00:12, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
Zhong ST, Misplaced Pages is a conglomerate of what reliable sources say. For us, it isn't a question of whether Aung San Suu Kyi should be in power, it's a question of if she actually is. Her arrest has been condemned by the international community (which is reflected in the section discussing her arrest and the coup) and while you and I can agree that she is surely the rightful leader of Myanmar, the reality of the situation is that she is no longer in charge. I hope that you are safe, and I want you to know that there are millions of people around the world who support you and your people's struggle for freedom. ThadeusOfNazereth 00:51, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Thank you ThadeusOfNazereth

Appreciate your kind words towards me and my fellow people in Burma who are struggling for their own life and wellbeing.

We can't say thank you enough for the people around the world supporting us going through each day and witness our many many years of sufferings .

I was just trying to do the right thing.

Draft:Honghao Deng

Hello, I hope you are doing well.

I am leaving this message here because you reviewed and commented my draft a couple of months ago, I think I have addressed the issue that you commented about the coverage and expanded the draft a bit. It is still a bit short but I think is ready to be re-reviewed and I have sent the AfC again. Could you take a look to the new references? I appreciate your thoughts.

Point La Vista Cape (Jacksonville) - Newly Published Starter Article

Thaddeus: You classified Point La Vista Cape as a starter article in January with a need for more citations. We updated and added Citations. I do not understand the reclassification as an "orphan article" by Editors Gronk Oz and AnomieBOT. It is indeed the first in-depth study of this geographically distinct neighborhood in the city of Jacksonville FL. Prior to this it was buried in "Southside". The references have no errors of which we are aware. The content and citations have been reviewed. What do you make of this? Please advise. PointLaVista (talk) 21:58, 8 April 2021 (UTC)Point La Vista

An orphan article is an article that isn't linked to by any other article - That just lets people know to be on the lookout for articles that could link to. Orphan articles have much lower readership because they can only be found by searching for the subject specifically, instead of stumbling across it when reading about a related topic. I'll take a look and see where links might be able to be added! ThadeusOfNazereth 20:37, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

Epictrex

See the whole section, at their talk, and then some of the diffs for the deleted stuff from their talk. I've tried to be helpful with them, but at some point they need to help themselves. I get the feeling they are either very young or older than the internet revolution, and WP:CIR may be a consideration. As I mentioned to them, I'm about to become very busy IRL very soon, and until sometime in August, so I wont be here much. If they do not begin to grok some stuff soon, other editors may not be as patient with them as I have tried to be. If you want to help them out, feel free. Heiro 03:56, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

Like I said in my immediate self-revert, I should've checked his talk page before jumping to a conclusion. I did read over everything you put, and I'm pretty confident they've got the gist from the help you gave them there - If there's still issues, it'll be on them.
