Flórián Albert (born September 15, 1941 in Hercegszántó) was a Hungarian football striker, who was named European Footballer of the Year in 1967. He has been described as one of the most elegant footballers of all time.

Albert spent his club career with only one club: Ferencváros, where he played from 1958 to 1974. He scored 32 goals in 75 caps for the Hungarian national team. He tied five others for as the top scorer at the 1962 World Cup, with four goals.
