Speedy deletion nomination of 902 (PTV Bus)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 902 (PTV Bus) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Route 902, Victorian Bus Route. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. You do not own an article, once it is published on Misplaced Pages it becomes public domain. If other editors disagree with the notability of an article it is their right to express that opinion. Dan arndt (talk) 07:14, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
I know i dont own the page I am simply trying to protect it from deletion attempts NotOrrio (talk) 07:34, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
The best way to prevent an article from being deleted is to demonstrate that it is subject to significant coverage (not mentions in passing or inclusion on lists/timetables) in multiple reliable independent secondary sources and by referencing those sources with inline citations. 07:45, 23 October 2022 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Jumpytoo Talk 09:04, 23 October 2022 (UTC)

While an article you created was at a deletion discussion you replaced it with a redirect, giving the edit summary "i have made the choice to delete this page keeping it up just isnt worth it anymore". You then waited until the deletion discussion was closed, and recreated the page under a different title. It is difficult to see any explanation for that other than that it was an attempt to evade the outcome of the discussion, in the hope that nobody would notice. I also note the message immediately above about removing Articles for deletion notices, which I see you have done more than once. If you continue to give the impression that you are trying to use devious methods to evade consensus then you are likely to be blocked from editing by an administrator. You have been blocked temporarily from editing because of your persistent attempts to disrupt the process of deletion discussion. After receiving my warning above, you made this edit, in which you falsely claimed that a discussion had been closed as "keep", although you knew full well that in fact the discussion had not been closed. This block is for just 48 hours, but if you continue in the same way you are likely to be blocked for much longer. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 12:00, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
