Júlio César Soares Espíndola (born September 3, 1979) is a Brazilian football player (goalkeeper). He was born in Rio de Janeiro and has played his whole career for the local Flamengo. However, he is joining Internazionale in August 2005. On the first semester he will be playing for Chievo

He has played 7 times for the Brazilian National Team, having won the Copa América in 2004.
