In the 2006 movie 'Factory Girl', Siena Miller plays Edie. In many ways she was picked for the part because of her life situation being closely related to that of Edie's. She was born in to a wealthy family like Edie and decided to exercise her creative career by breaking away from the contraints of a small English social circle by living in New York. Her acting performance is impeccible and hopefully this will be the break in her career from IT girl to actress.
