Zori Balayan is a Soviet Armenian journalist and writer. His work "Ojagh" became a thesis for revival of inter-ethnic strife over the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, which ultimately resulted in 1991-1994 Nagorno-Karabakh War between Armenia and Azerbaijan with a total of 30,000 fatalities and over a million refugees on both sides. Zori Balayan was in search by Interpol at the request of Azerbaijan , though in 2001, Armenia managed to exclude Balayan from this list.
