In 1706 the Arabs Sheikh migrate from arab to south asia, they are originally from arab tribe Bani Yas which is located in Saudia Arabia and Qatar.

The Shaikh caste were originallly rich and royal people and can be found in the Faisalabad, Karachi, Chiniot and Rawalpindi District regions of Punjab and sindh.
