The eight-circuit model of consciousness is a holistic proposal originally described by Timothy Leary, later expanded on by Robert Anton Wilson in his 1977 book Cosmic Trigger and his 1983 book Prometheus Rising, and by Antero Alli, that suggests "eight periods " within the model.
