Namaste. Thank you for participating in Misplaced Pages. I have noticed some of your image contributions showing up on some of the pages I keep on my watch list. One of the pictures you uploaded is now in use on ], a page I follow, and I think the picture looks very nice there, a good illustration for a specific idea in the article.
Since you are adding quite a few images, it is possible that some concern may be raised about promotional efforts related to the organization from which the pictures are coming. Some editors are very sensitive to the problem of spam on Misplaced Pages. For general information on the problem of spam on Misplaced Pages, see ].
I am not accusing you of spamming, so please do not take it that way. I mention it only to let you know that in some cases others may interpret use of images that are tied to a particular source as a form of spamming.
One way to reduce the chance your images will be seen in a negative way would be to discuss the idea of using them in an article on the talk page before adding them, to test the waters. That is something that I sometimes do when I am approaching an article for the first time.
I would be happy to discuss any of these ideas with you further. Thanks again for participating!

Namaste from Kauai
Aloha Anantashakti! Nice page you have here. We like the Suli at the top. Congratulations! Aum, Himalayan Academy Publications 19:06, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

I haven't got confirmation from the mailing list people, but for the moment I'll assume that User:Himalayan Academy Publications is indeed who they say they are and that you have permission to upload these images. Misplaced Pages isn't a image storage space and uploaded images should be inserted into relevant articles. Since the images are under a free license, I recommend you upload to Wikimedia Commons instead so all Wikimedia Foundation sites can use them. (This would also mean they don't neccesarily have to be used in articles if uploaded there). - Mgm| 10:42, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing out that images should be inserted into relevant articles right away, Mgm. Will do so in the next few days. I do have permission to upload the images, of course. Uploading to Wikimedia Commons in the future sounds like a good idea. Thanks again! - Anantashakti 17:45, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Namaste. Thank you for participating in Misplaced Pages. I have noticed some of your image contributions showing up on some of the pages I keep on my watch list.
