Tanasbourne is a neighborhood in Washington County, Oregon where NW 185th Avenue and U.S. Route 26 intersect. The area sits between Beaverton and Hillsboro, Oregon. Generally considered to be south of US 26, north of Walker Road, west of 158th, and east of Cornelius Pass Road. The area is a regional shopping hub that includes the Tanasbourne Towne Center, Tanasbourne Village, and The Streets of Tanasbourne. Is the former home of the now defunct Tanasbourne Mall.
Besides shopping centers, Tanasbourne is home to large apartment complexes, industrial/commercial parks, and many medical facilities. Located in Oregon's Silicon Forest, the area is home to EPSON's Portland operation, a Netflix call center, a loan processing center for Bank of America, and OHSU's West Campus.
Most of the community is in Hillsboro, and that city maintains a library and police station in the vicinity. Hillsboro is in the process of planning a major redevelopment of the area.

In 1974 construction began on a $6 million shopping center to be named Tanasbourne Town Center located on the east side of NW 185th adjacent to the Sunset Highway. This two-story, 152,000 square foot mall was completed in 1977 by owners Standard Insurance. The original tenets included a library, a day care, and professional offices.
