During the 2000s, Rodolfo expanded as he opened his second salon on Madison Avenue in New York. The press named him as a preeminent New York society hair stylist. Some of his clientele are Claudia Cohen,Ellen Barkin, Dayle Haddon, Cathy Moriarty, Carrie Fisher, Helena Frith Powell, Nina Griscom, John Catsimatidis'wife Margo and the wife of the CEO of Hess Corporation, Susan Hess. His expertise has recently been featured in Forget the Facelift, a book dedicated to beauty by celebrity dermatologist Dr. Doris J. Day M.D.. Rodolfo Valentin is also the recipient of the United States' national grand design award for hair designers and the recipient of the hair coloring techniques award.

Valentin offers free hair prostheses to cancer patients through his Sofia's Hair 4 Health foundation.

Hair infusion

Hair infusion is a trademarked procedure of Rodolfo Valentin, created to add length, volume and color to the hair. Synthetic or real human hair is used in the hair infusion process. Synthetic hair is much less costly, by using real human hair, the hair infusion color can be changed, and the natural appearance cannot be compared to synthetic hair.

Infusion is also considered a less aggressive hair extension technique, because it avoids the pulling out or breaking down of the person's own hair as it may happen with other traditional methods. Furthermore, hair infusion does not use any metal to be attached, and does not use heat avoiding the burning of hair.

Hair infusion is reusable and it is barely noticeable to the touch. It is also safe for people who may have allergic reactions to chemicals, since hair infusion can add highlighting effects to the person's hair without using artificial substances.
