Kalaimani weaved a story around them, which became Paaru Paaru Pattanam Paaru. It is the first film for Ranjini as lead actress.
Soundtrack
The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The song "Yaar Thoorigai" is set to the Carnatic raga Sindhu Bhairavi.
