===Retrieve SeamlessHR===

Hi, can you help put back the draft for SeamlessHR? I'd used the draft from the website to curate their profile, which must have contained the materials deemed as puffery but I attempted to mitigate this by linking the stories to their respective evidence in the media. All of the media evidence is tied to each one of the stories. I am happy to remove anything that seems like advertisement. I deem this worthy of being on Misplaced Pages because there are very few firms leveraging technology for HR solutions in Africa, and SeamlessHR being one of them needs to be preserved for people to know and be able to read about them. The piece is not a promotion or advertisement, rather a statement of the firm's growth, and a reflection of development happening in Africa.

Thanks for your work. Happy to chat about this

Sheenhx I'm prepared to restore the text, but I think you need some guidance before you try again, otherwise you might get yourself blocked. Unfortunately, I haven't got time right now, about to go out, but I'll post as soon as I can, might not be until tomorrow Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:04, 30 August 2024 (UTC)

Draft:Deutschheim Verein

Hello, Mr. Bleak, I would appreciate reconsideration of our article for the Deutschheim Verein, which supports the Missouri Deutschheim State Historic Site. I don't see how the text can be claimed as merely an "advertisement"; frankly, there are many organizations mentioned on Misplaced Pages that are far less deserving, such as the Missouri Germans Consortium, which has a membership of one person. We are officially recognized by the State of Missouri. We publish a scholarly journal, Der Maibaum, and educate the public about the historic and cultural contributions of our state's German immigrants. Without them, for instance, Missouri would have seceded from the United States during the Civil War. Although now a mere public high school English and journalism teacher, I am a published author and have been a professional editor and journalist, so I believe the text I sent was relatively free from error. If you want the entry to be shorter, that could always be arranged. Thank you.--Jim Muench 67.6.214.77 (talk) 01:00, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

Book review sources

Hello Jimfbleak, sorry to beat a dead horse a little but bit I am going through AfCs on books/authors and noticed that you removed several RS reviews from a draft here. You're right that the quotes from reviewers gave that section a very promotional feel, since the quotes had a lot of bombastic praise, but I think fully removing the reviews contributed to an inaccurate AfC decline since it also removed the evidence for WP:NAUTHOR. Since RS reviews are important for notability, please preserve them somewhere neutral (even a "further reading") in the future. Thanks for your work at AfC! ~ L 🌸 (talk) 23:18, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
