Niklas Georg Lidströmer, born on 3 juni 1974 on Lidingö, is a Swedish physician and researcher.
Dr Niklas Lidströmer is a senior researcher at Karolinska Institutet. Lidströmer received Master of Science (MSc) in 2000 and Medical Doctor (MD) 2002 at Uppsala Universitet. He obtained medical license in 2005 became a specialist physician in 2011.
Lidströmer researches within artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine and is a senior advisor within AI and medical applications. Lidströmer has launched the concept Global Patient co-Owned Cloud (GPOC) in several publications, among others in Nature Communications.
Dr Niklas Lidströmer is editor-in-chief for the reference work, the new standard reference, Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Springer Nature (130 chapters, 1,858 pages), which has become the largest within the scientific community in the world. He authored several chapters. The foreword has written by Professor Eric Topol.
