Mental health advocate and entrepreneurElisha London is a mental health advocate and entrepreneur, known for founding United for Global Mental Health, an organization dedicated to advancing global mental health awareness, and for her role as CEO of Prospira Global, a consultancy specializing in mental health strategy.
Early life and career
Elisha earned an MBA from the TRIUM Global Executive Program, a collaboration between New York University, the London School of Economics, and HEC Paris, and an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics.
Elisha began her career in philanthropy and development, working with Global Citizen as the UK Director. In this role, she led campaigns like the “End of Polio” initiative and “Live Below the Line,” which addressed issues of extreme poverty and public health.
Following personal experiences with mental health challenges, Elisha shifted her focus to mental health advocacy. She served as Campaign Director for Heads Together , a mental health initiative launched by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. The campaign sought to reduce stigma around mental health in the UK and improve access to mental health support.
In 2018, Elisha established United for Global Mental Health, a nonprofit organization.
