Iker Córdoba Sánchez (born 11 November 2005) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a defender for Valencia.
Career
A native of Tarragona, Spain, Córdoba joined the youth academy of Spanish La Liga side Barcelona at under-12 level. At the age of sixteen, he almost joined the youth academy of German Bundesliga side FC Bayern. In 2023, he joined the youth academy of Spanish La Liga side Valencia, where he started his senior career with the club's reserve team.
Style of play
Córdoba plays as a defender, specifically as a centre-back or as a right-back. A right-footed player, "clean when bringing the ball out and, above all, powerful in the air, both in defence and attack".
