Inactive township in the US state of MissouriForbes Township is a township in southeastern Holt County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is roughly 42 square miles.
Forbes Township was established on March 22nd, 1871 out of the southern portion of Nodaway Township A year later, on May 10th, 1872, the township's northern boundary changed to match the congressional boundary resulting in Forbes Township expanding by six sections.
