About

Template:Spoilers In the fictional Wing Commander universe, the TCS Victory was an old, re-commisioned carrier that was put in the front lines during the Terran-Kilrathi War because of heavy losses incurred during the Battle of Earth. The Victory's captain was William Eisen, who commanded the ship for many years and is proud of it. The Victory was not in top-knotch shape. The ship appeared pretty shabby and worn down. The air filters weren't working well, making the flight deck smell horrible.

The Victory's services in the Terran-Kilrathi War were highly notable, In the computer game Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger, Christopher Blair, by orders of Admiral Geoffrey Tolwyn, was transferred to the Victory as the Wing Commander for the carrier. During Blair's time on the Victory, the carrier served as the testing ground for Confed's new prototype starfighter, the F-103A Excalibur heavy fighter. She was also involved in the Locanda colonies crisis, where the Kilrathi deployed their newly-developed "Skipper" cruise missile, which is equipped with a cloaking device, and a genetically-engineered bioweapon. Another notable assignment was when the Victory was assigned to escort and defend Confed's newly constructed Behemoth-class Dreadnought; the TCS Behemoth, which was assigned to destroy the Kilrathi homeworld, Kilrah. However, a traitor amongst the ranks of the TCS Victory transmitted the weaknesses of the TCS Behemoth to the Kilrathi, allowing the Kilrathi to launch an attack on the Behemoth and destroying it. The Victory's most highly notable assignment was when Christopher Blair launches the Temblor bomb, a bomb designed to disrupt a planet's seismic activities and destroy the planet, on Kilrah, destroying the planet and ending the Terran-Kilrathi War.

Following the war, the TCS Victory was made into an orbiting museum, showing to everyone that the Victory, although an old and run-down ship, played a very important role in the Terran-Kilrathi War.
