WWE New Year's Revolution was a pay-per-view event, produced by World Wrestling Entertainment, which was the first of two pay-per-views to be held during January of 2005 (the other being the annual Royal Rumble). It originated from Puerto Rico in San Juan in the Coliseo De Puerto Rico arena on January 9, 2005. It was a RAW brand event. Not only was this the first time for this event, but it was also the first WWE pay-per-view event to be held in Puerto Rico.
Tickets for this event were sold out in less than a month after being available for sale, marking one of the fastest selling events in the short history of the Coliseo De Puerto Rico..
