re:block

My block of that IP was totally justified in that it matched a pattern of harassment directed towards an editor. In particular it sought to replace properly attributed photographs with cropped versions that do not contain proper attribution (in breach of the license under which they were first uploaded). The person who crops them asserts that they are the author, rather than correctly crediting the photo taker. As to whether a cropped version is better, that is a matter of editorial discretion to be discussed. But blanket replacement on an editors photos looks like harassment to me and will not be tolerated. WjBscribe 02:27, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

This is not an edit war. Your harassment of David will cease or you will be blocked. I also will not permit photos without correct attribution to be added to any article on Misplaced Pages, as doing so would contravene GFDL. WjBscribe 02:45, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

I came here to make the same point; more than one admin is now keeping an eye on this matter, and it would be wise to stop the harassment. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 12:49, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
