==Moving pages via cut and paste loses their history==

I just noticed a couple of instances where you've moved pages to new locations by manually cutting and pasting the contents there and changing the old article to a redirect. This causes the article's history to be "lost", since it remains behind at the location now occupied by the redirect. Instead, please use the "move this page" link in the sidebar; this will automatically create a redirect and will move the article's history along with it. ] 06:24, 20 May 2005 (UTC)

Decategorizing articles on VfD

I've noticed that you put a bunch of Metroid-related articles on VfD recently and removed them from various categories in the process. Please don't do that; if the articles are deleted they'll be removed from those categories automatically, and if they're not then those categories will need to be restored anyway. And there may be people using the "related changes" link from Category:Metroid who would miss the fact that these articles were on VfD as a result. Bryan 06:09, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Oh, and I notice that some of the VfD subpages you've been creating haven't been added to the VfD main page via the link on Misplaced Pages:Votes for deletion/Log/Today. You have to do that or they don't get voted on or noticed by admins when the vote's finished. Bryan 06:18, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I've added the ones I was able to find to Misplaced Pages:Votes for deletion/Log/2005 April 11, in case you're looking for them later. Bryan 06:40, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
