AFFIDAVIT

I wish my true name to remain unknown, and I will therefore use the name PUBLIUS for that reason.

I am a personal friend of Jordan Maxwell, whom I’ve known continuously since Friday, September 27, 1996. I have personal knowledge of the situation and the circumstances involving Vic Varjabedian, Jordan Maxwell, and BBCOA, as I was there personally for many events as an eyewitness. I would freely state the following under penalty of perjury.

On Friday, September 27, 1996, in Stanton, Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A., I first spoke to Jordan Maxwell via telephone while he was working as a researcher, author, lecturer, and speaker with Truth Seeker Company (SEE Internet: "Truth Seeker Company") in San Diego, California, U.S.A.

Beginning on Tuesday, February 11, 1997, I traveled from Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A. to San Diego, California, to meet Jordan Maxwell, which meeting occurred on Monday, February 17, 1997, in San Diego. Jordan Maxwell and I spent time at the Truth Seeker Company and in discussion at his apartment in the immediate vicinity/neighborhood provided Jordan Maxwell by Truth Seeker Company. Jordan Maxwell at the time was actively engaged in research for Truth Seeker Company.

I departed San Diego for Los Angeles, California, U.S.A., on Friday, February 21, 1997. I returned to Wilmington, Delaware, on Wednesday, March 5, 1997. Jordan Maxwell and I continued to communicate via telephone, and somewhere in the interim of my later returning to Los Angeles on Saturday, September 5, 1998, I learned Truth Seeker Company abruptly ended their association with Jordan Maxwell, leaving Jordan Maxwell under immediate economic harm, with threat of destitution looming, which forced Jordan Maxwell’s return to Los Angeles, California, under said economic harm, stress, and duress. Other parties to these events and Jordan Maxwell himself informed me it was under such economic harm, stress, and duress that Jordan Maxwell began his association with Vic Varjabedian of BBCOA sometime between Wednesday, March 5, 1997, and Saturday, September 5, 1998, Varjededian offering Jordan Maxwell his one-room office in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California, as a place for Jordan Maxwell to stay, research, and work because Varjabedian wanted to express gratitude to Jordan Maxwell for the personal benefits Varjabedian felt Jordan Maxwell’s life’s work and research personally provided Varjabedian. Varjabedian was extending himself to Jordan Maxwell as a personal benefactor in support of Jordan Maxwell’s research and life’s work. Varjabedian’s BBCOA was already in existence and operating under Varjededian’s direction, influence, and control for some time prior to Jordan Maxwell’s association with Varjabedian, and consequently BBCOA, Jordan Maxwell having nothing whatsoever to do with the founding, mission, business, policies, or operations of BBCOA, established and already set in motion some time prior to Jordan Maxwell’s association with Vic Varjabedian, and consequently BBCOA.

On Friday, August 28, 1998, I departed Wilmington, Delaware, for Los Angeles, California, arriving on Saturday, September 5, 1998. On Sunday, September 6, 1998, I made arrangements for living at Oakwood Apartments in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, California, briefly returning to Wilmington, Delaware, on Wednesday, September 16, 1998, then returning again to Los Angeles on Friday, September 25, 1998, at which time I reestablished contact with Jordan Maxwell in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California, at the one-room office of BBCOA, the complete location being: Suite 213, 19562 Ventura Boulevard, Tarzana, , Los Angeles county, CALIFORNIA, U.S.A. I testify and state for the record Jordan Maxwell’s circumstances were far from opulent, his having to sleep on the floor, and Jordan Maxwell, a 57-year old man at the time, was under severe mental anguish and suffering economic harm and destitution, considering the loss of the means of acquiring the necessities required to sustain life given Truth Seeker Company’s abrupt severing of their relationship with Jordan Maxwell. My perception was Vic Varjabedian was only providing Jordan Maxwell with enough economic compensation to barely acquire the necessities required to sustain life.

Seeing the impoverished circumstances Jordan Maxwell was living under, I often took Jordan Maxwell out for meals with me, which I paid for, in September, October, November, and December 1998. I provided Jordan Maxwell with an additional several thousand dollars, also, to help support his life’s work and research. It was during this time, I began spending much time in the Tarzana office of Varjabedian’s BBCOA as Jordan Maxwell felt I was of use to him as a research assistant, given my computer and artistic skills. I was told I would be working for BBCOA under Vic Varjededian, and then my own economic woes soon began, as I never received any compensation for my services, which I provided to BBCOA, Varjabedian, and Jordan Maxwell, although, looking back, the fault was mine, as I never had any type of formal agreement with anyone. I was happy, although not wise, to just be of service and learning, functioning under what I now can see was a type of very informal internship, although I thought I’d eventually be paid. That never happened.

I continued assisting Vic Varjabedian, BBCOA, and Jordan Maxwell in the Tarzana office of Varjabedian’s BBCOA, eventually acquiring my own desk there, and bringing in my own computer equipment, under the understanding I would someday be paid for my services. That never happened, and my economic circumstances deteriorated to the point that on Tuesday, March 9, 1999, I no longer could pay the rent at Oakwood Apartments in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, and I voluntarily left Oakwood Apartments. I lived in the Tarzana office of BBCOA briefly from Tuesday, March 9, 1999, through Monday, April 26, 1999. On Tuesday, April 27, 1999, I disassociated myself from BBCOA, and I departed Los Angeles, impoverished, to return to Wilmington, Delaware, where I arrived on Sunday, April 30, 1999. On Monday, July 26, 1999, I returned to Los Angeles, California, where I’ve been domiciled permanently ever since.

On Monday, July 26, 1999, immediately upon my return, I reestablished personal contact with Jordan Maxwell, who was still associated with BBCOA, but only as researcher and promoter of his life’s work, and nothing else. I visited the new office suite of BBCOA in Tarzana several times, which was across the street from BBCOA’s previous one-room office, although I no longer was associated with BBCOA, my understanding through Jordan Maxwell being Vic Varjabedian felt like I “had my chance,” and I abandoned BBCOA. I was never paid for my previous services, although previously I would occasionally receive a pittance of Varjabedian’s spare cash or loose change as a gift, but never anything that would obtain the necessities required to sustain life. Among other services, I provided BBCOA graphic artwork for promotion of several BBCOA products associated only with Jordan Maxwell’s work and nothing else. I received no recompense. Vic Varjededian was traveling in a white Mercedes Benz as of Monday, July 26, 1999. Jordan Maxwell had his own smaller office within the larger office suit of Varjabedian’s BBCOA, but Jordan Maxwell was not being paid enough money to live outside that office in a proper home or apartment is what I concluded based on what I saw, Jordan Maxwell living within that smaller office and sleeping on the floor. In short, I would classify Jordan Maxwell as being kept on Varjabedian’s economic leash and under Varjabedian’s economic control and thumb. I understood that Jordan Maxwell, then a 58-year-old man, endured these difficult circumstances because events forced him to consider this association with Vic Varjabedian, and consequently BBCOA, the only means available at such time to continue to promote his life’s work and research.

During this time, I was homeless and lived in my truck and an abandoned office in Tarzana, associating with Jordan Maxwell when I could, until I found proper shelter somewhere else in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 4, 1999. I lived in poverty until I began working for UCLA on Monday, November 1, 1999.

On Friday, September 1, 2000, I was able to begin renting an apartment in Westwood, Los Angeles, California. I was working nearby at UCLA.

Given all the events and circumstance described above, I do not know when Jordan Maxwell was formally considered as being an associate of BBCOA, but it would have to be sometime after Friday, September 25, 1998, when I reestablished contact with Jordan Maxwell in Vic Varjabedian’s one-room BBCOA office in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California, and Thursday, January 16, 2003, when the Federal Trade Commission publicly released the following statement: “FTC Targets Sellers Who Deceptively Marketed International Driver's Permits over the Internet and via Spam,” naming Jordan Maxwell and Vic Varjabedian in the Central District of California, Western Division.

I afterwards learned from personal associates BBCOA was shutdown days prior by the Federal Trade Commission and the police.

It is my assertion based on my eyewitness and personal knowledge of the parties involved, this is a case of suspicion and guilt by association concerning Jordan Maxwell, as at no point in time did I ever personally witness or have personal knowledge of Vic Varjabedian ever allowing Jordan Maxwell to assert any influence, control, or direction over BBCOA’s business activities and policies, which had nothing at all to do with Jordan Maxwell’s life’s work as one of the world’s leading researchers, a life’s work already begun long before any association with Vic Varjabedian and BBCOA. Any association of Jordan Maxwell’s with BBCOA was solely to promote his life’s work and research, nothing else. I hereby unequivocally assert that it is my personally informed belief and understanding that any agreement between Vic Varjabedian and Jordan Maxwell never, under any circumstances, went beyond Jordan Maxwell providing his life’s work, speaking ability, and research materials for promotion by the BBCOA, from which Vic Varjabedian gained handsomely, and Jordan Maxwell, from what I’ve observed personally, has never received enough recompense from Vic Varjabedian to ever acquire a proper home or apartment to live in, Jordan Maxwell having to live in a small office and sleeping on the floor throughout his entire association with Vic Varjabedian and BBCOA, and I’ve never observed or personally known Jordan Maxwell to ever have received more than a small, very informal, casual allowance from Vic Varjabedian for food and miscellaneous expenses.

Jordan Maxwell has told me himself on occasion, the government personally spoke to him, and the government conceded they knew Jordan Maxwell had nothing to do with the activities that shutdown BBCOA, and that the government’s interest in Jordan Maxwell was solely to obtain information about Vic Varjabedian’s activities.

I, PUBLIUS, do hereby certify, attest, and affirm that I have read the foregoing and know the contents thereof and to the best of my personal knowledge, understanding, and belief is true, correct, complete, and certain, not misleading, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. This PUBLIUS accordingly does hereto assert this is a free and voluntary Act and Deed. Saturday, October 13, 2007.

Jordan Maxwell Article

I am not sure if I am making the right moves here. This site and all it's rules are very confusing at times.

I am writing on behalf of Jordan, who asked me to, to ask if you could please take down the "court judgments" section of this page. I have withdrawn all threat of legal action, and you have my apologies for getting a little heated about this.

It is not my intention to make enemies here. Not at all. I think wiki is a wonderful source of information, and I have used it quite often.

What I am concerned about is the fact that this part of the article is not completely researched. Yes charges were brought against Jordan because at the time he was using Vic's website, completely offered by Vic, to post some of his material. This made him a co contributor to the website, but only in respect to his own writings. The rest of the material was Vic's.

Jordan is now aging, and has often mentioned how distressed he is, as anyone would be, that his name is being dragged through the mud. He has spent the last 50 years as a researcher, and has never had anything to do with credit checks and what not. That was all Vic's thoughts.

A background check of any kind, would show that Jordan has never associated with anything illegal like this previous to that incident, and I should think that if he was a charletan, or in any way inclined to that kind of behaviour, that he would have tried it long before that and since.

Jordan is a kind and caring man. I know this from personal experience. Some of his views are not considered mainstream, true, but those are his beliefs and he has a right to them. I do not in any way suggest that the rest of the article is false or misleading. He has researched many things in his life, many areas, because of his love of learning and discovery.

Whether one agrees with his ideas or not, should he not be able to ask for the removal of material that is, in fact, false.

Should it not be removed even if there is a possibility of it being false? It is bringing his name into disrepute, and being such a large entry on the page, it is clearly outweighing the rest of the material that has been researched for over 50 years.

It looks like an expose of a man who has been defrauding the world for all of his life. This is not fair or even. His association with Vic is something that Jordan no doubt regrets deeply, but should that small blip in the context of a long and distinguished life dedicated, not to making a fast buck, but to research in his fields of interest smear his entire life's work?

As I have mentioned Jordan is an old man now, and has nothing but his dignity. Should that be taken from him, when he is clearly, in every other occasion before and after Vic's fiasco, not interested in fraudulent documents of any kind? He has made his life's work a study in researching documents very carefully, never putting any opinion forward without having the documented research to back it up.

Vic took advantage of Jordan's good name by offering to allow Jordan to post some of his work on his website, which Jordan agreed to because he is not savvy with the workings of websites or computers. Jordan now has his own website and there is no mention of anything but researched material, and very well researched at that.

All I am asking is that a good man's reputation be left intact. Surely if there is even the remotest possibility that he is completely innocent, and was clearly taken advantage of, that part of the article should be removed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xcommunic8 (talkcontribs) 21:09, June 23, 2007 – Please sign your posts!

Provide evidence he is innocent and it will be added to his article, but the court case stays; Misplaced Pages is not censored. ∞ΣɛÞ² 08:28, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Is this one section of the article that important to you? It is very distressing for Jordan. Is that not enough? Who am I speaking to by the way? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xcommunic8 (talkcontribs) 04:53, June 24, 2007 – Please sign your posts!

Don't start a duplicate section when one already exists. The entire article is "important" (relatively) to me. I don't care if this section is distressing for Jordan. Again, Misplaced Pages is not censored. Provide evidence for his aquittal and add it to the section. You are talking to me, obviously--note the signature (which you need to learn how to do) and click on the name, if you like: ∞ΣɛÞ² 12:19, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

eep

I can see that you don't care for other peoples feelings. You have been clearly abusive to other editors, on a consistent basis. Your rap sheet is long and full of warnings. I don't understand why you haven't been banned for life for abusive behaviour. You carry on like you are judge and executioner, and Eep, you are far far from that. Please remove the offensive part of the article. Not because you are cowtowing to me or anyone else, but for the sake of humanity.

````
I'm abusive to those who abuse me, as you are beginning to do with you calling me Natalie (huh?), misspelling my name (as "Eeg"), and now still not signing your posts correctly (with "~~~~", not "````"). Besides the fact that you reverted restoration of legitimately sourced material on Maxwell's page, your inability to provide proof of his aquittal (and then claiming I don't care about Maxwell (and then extrapolating that out to everyone), plus your inability at reading comprehension makes me question your motives, causes me to feel as if you are abusing me. So, get a clue and cease and desist or I start adding warning notices here, which will draw attention from admins, dig? This isn't about me, but you, and your lack of following Misplaced Pages rules. Yes, I've had (and have) issues with some of its policies/guidelines, but providing references/sources isn't one of them (anymore). I suggest you learn the rules if you want to play the Misplaced Pages game. ∞ΣɛÞ² 16:37, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Listing on BLPN
I've listed the page Jordan Maxwell on the Biographies of Living Persons noticeboard. Over the next few weeks it will receive extra attention from editors and should improve. --h2g2bob (talk) 13:30, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Thankyou so much Bob, I am new to editing here and had no idea what to do ;about this.
Reading the sources, the court judgments section will probably stay even after review as it has a number of sources backing it. Unless sources contradicting it are found, it will probably stay more or less as it is. After all, it correctly describes what happened in the court case (regardless of the truth). Misplaced Pages can't judge people's guilt or innocence: we can only report what others have said.
