Benny Hester, born in Waco, Texas, is a Contemporary Christian Music singer and songwriter. He is best known for his chart-topping songs, "When God Ran" and top 40 crossover hit "Nobody Knows Me Like You". Benny has written, and recorded, more than twenty number one and top ten songs.
Benny moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he formed a jingle advertising company named MusAd. While in Las Vegas, Benny met now renowned music producer Brent Maher. Brent went on to produce Benny's first album, the self titled, "Benny...". From 1991 to 1996 he was the Music Producer and Songwriter for the MTV/[[Nickelodeon television series "Roundhouse".
