Several of your edits changed from ] to ] or ], some of those in articles which link to South Tyrol in a historical context. Sorry for being a bit overeager, but what Delirium said wrt to a "spree" seemed plausible to me. —''']''' (]) 22:33, 5 July 2007 (UTC) |

Yes, you are indeed removing the English name for the region, "South Tyrol", and replacing it with the Italian and German names for the region. As this is the English Misplaced Pages, that's inappropriate. --] 22:47, 5 July 2007 (UTC) |

:There are two names used commonly in English for the ''region'' name. Alto Adige and South Tyrol. Refer to the solution at ]. Also, realize that the regional names overlap the provincial names. ] == ]; ] == ]. The former is often used in a historical context, and the latter in modern references. Man, I get a lot of my work reverted and then have to spend all this time explaining the provinces in italy. :-) i hope it is worth it to you two. |

I must ask you to not continue to put "Bolzano/Bozen" as the name of the province. It will only confuse readers, most of whom are very familiar with the name South Tyrol. I tried to use the official name as a compromise, please try to accept that we should always keep the reader in mind. If you believe you have sufficient sources for usage of the term "Bolzano/Bozen" (which I doubt, seeing as most official documents and websites use terms like "(Autonomous) Province of South Tyrol/Bozen/Bolzano" or simply "South Tyrol"), please put them in the discussion on ]. —''']''' (]) 04:57, 6 July 2007 (UTC) |
