The Review of International Law and Politics (RILP) / Uluslararası Hukuk ve Politika (UHP) is an independent, scholarly refereed journal, which has been published four times a year since 2004.

RILP publishes scholarly articles and book reviews in English, German and Turkish. The Editorial Office is located at the International Strategic Research Organisation in Ankara, Turkey. However, the journal is an independent publication in terms of scientific research, and the editors decide its publication policy.

RILP is indexed and/or abstracted in IPSA, Worldwide Political Science Abstracts, PAIS International, Sociological Abstracts, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences, Social Services Abstracts, and Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts.

RILP focuses on international law and international relations, yet the journal also accepts studies on area studies (Balkans, Caucasus, Europe, Central Asia etc.), international security, international relations sociology, sociology, anthropology in general from all over the world. The journal encourages interdisciplinary studies.

RILP’s aim is to generate a productive dialogue and exchange of ideas between theorists, writers and practitioners from different cultural backgrounds.
