It is the 6th model in the iPod line released by Apple. It is wider than the 2nd-generation iPod Nano, but has the same aluminium casing. As of August 2007, the line-up consisted of the video-capable fifth generation iPod, the smaller second generation iPod nano, and the display-less second generation iPod shuffle. This is the newest model in the iPod line. The iPod Touch uses 8 or 16 gigabyte of flash memory. It also has Wi-Fi and uses Safari , Apple's web browser, to browse the internet. The iPod touch is the first generation of iPods to include wireless access to the iTunes Store.
