---|
Nahum Grymes profesionaly known as J. Holiday (born in Southeast Washington D.C.) is a R&B singer who gained prominence with his single, "Bed".
Holiday was born 1984 in Washington D.C. to a musical family. His mother Frances, an ordained minister, sang gospel with her five sisters, and his older sister provided background vocals for Crystal Waters. By the age of nine, Holiday began singing, encouraged by his male cousins. His father walked out on the family when he was eleven.
Holiday signed to Capitol and under the production of Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins recorded his first single "Be with Me" in 2006. His full-length debut Back of My Lac is scheduled for release on October 2, 2007.
